This hotel is inexpensive, yet clean and tidy. I didn't feel as if I was in a 'flop house' as I would have expected for the price. I have been here twice already and will keep coming to this hotel every time I come to Madison.

I got locked out of the building w a code malfunction & then out of my room. Remote staff did solve it but sitting outside in concrete & huddling back & forth to reset codes was a very unpleasant for a 79 year old!

The smell as other reviews shared was strong, but I think it's the kind of cleaning detergent or bleach they use. It's very clean, neat and organized. I could tell how much care the owner is putting into this facility. It's safe and clean, with the price, I think they deserve at least a three star!

there was only 1 small garbage can located in the bathroom. there was a piece of plastic wrap on the floor. the sink counter looked dirty. someone was vacuuming the hall after 10pm

Nice place. Great for an overnight stay and a place to sleep. Not much amenities, but great price. Looks like they are sprucing everything up. Room was newly redone.

Great affordable place to stay
The inside of the hotel is much nicer and cleaner than what you expect from the outside. The rooms are nice and clean enough. I appreciated having a microwave and fridge. Just a heads up - no conditioner or lotion provided, and there is no closet but a rack/bar on the wall with hangers, iron and board. Staff is super friendly and nice!!!! I would definitely stay here again and I think it was a great value. Area is safe and the property is quite secure. Location isn't the most convenient, as there is not really anywhere to eat or shop in walking distance and requires at least 5 min of driving, but overall not an issue as it is a 10-15 min drive to most attractions in Madison.

Area of town a little iffy. No staff on site at night, you call a number and they give you codes to get in building and your room. Decor is spartan. The place was clean! The bed was firm and clean. Pool an hot tub were closed! OK for a place to sleep.
