Welcome to our happy place, where we go to get away on a peaceful 60-acre spring fed lake. A two-story waterfront house that is far enough away to give you the secluded feel, but still close to everything you need. Such as dining, golfing, shopping, hiking and many other wonderful things Tennessee has to offer.

Laurel Lake is in a private community that prides itself in the laid-back atmosphere it provides. Whether its a relaxing stroll on a kayak or fishing for catfish off the beach, you will surely enjoy the peace and quiet.

The house has multiple levels of outdoor space that overlook the lake. Enjoy a meal on a sunny deck with lounge seating and dining tables. A staircase leads down to the lower deck that feature more lounge chairs and a large umbrella. Take three steps down and have your feet on the sandy beach or set sail on a water device of your choice.

As for the house itself, it's all about the lake view. The living room has cathedral ceilings with three large windows providing plenty of natural light. The living area, kitchen and master all have french doors opening to the back deck. The kitchen offers stainless steel appliances and a large dining table. Upstairs you will find two guest rooms that both have full size bunks and an additional full in each room.

Wedding Weekend
This house was perfect for a group of friends traveling to the area for a wedding. Tons of room on the deck to BBQ and eat outside and enjoy the lake. The property owner was super easy to deal with. Definitely would stay there again if we are in the area again.

Great stay, but property needs maintenance
We had a great time at Laken It Easy, so it’s hard to leave a negative review. The property is badly in need of maintenance. The pristine beach in the photos needs sand, there is black plastic sticking out everywhere making it look really trashy. The deck is caved in on one side, and there are boards screwed in on top of boards to cover holes, creating trip hazards on the stairs. The deck furniture is on its last legs. To be fair, the owner sent us an email, AFTER we arrived assuring us the deck was being replaced in a month. We contemplated contacting VRBO about the safety hazards presented by the deck, but knew the only remedy would be to pack up our two small children after a five hour car ride and go to another rental. We chose the lesser of two evils and stayed. It would have been nice if the owner had contacted us in advance, with pictures and given us the opportunity to cancel or reschedule our stay. Not wait until we were already there to warn us about the condition of the property. We would stay here again, if, and only if, the property is maintained better.

Enjoyed staying at this property. Property was clean with more than adequate supplies for the week we were there. Used adult kayaks, child/small adult kayaks and paddle boards also available to use. Decks are large with plenty of seating. Neighborhood is quiet. Owner was quick to answer any questions we had, both before our stay & during our stay!

Perfect Family Vacation
The lake house was awesome! The water was warm and plenty of kayaks, floats, and life vests. We enjoyed playing in the water all day and then excellent fishing at evening. The house itself was very clean and has all the amenities you would ever need. The sand beach and swing set kept the kids busy nonstop. Jordan was a great host, he responded to any message immediately. This was one of the best family vacations we ever had!

Fast and furious, like the rain!
The home was beautiful and we were so excited to arrive after our 13 hour drive. The beach and lake were a huge hit with our entire family! We loved all the options for water toys…kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boat, etc. The kids loved taking them over to the public beach to jump off the diving board. Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to flash flood warnings and torrential downpour. The septic definitely didn’t like all the extra rain and we were worried about being able to use the toilets. The owners were very easy to get ahold of and were very helpful with all of our needs.

Lakin’ Easy holds true to its name. Our family had a blast kayaking, swimming, jumping off the main lake diving board, finding waterfalls, shopping at the Amish Farmers Market, and driving Jeep trails!! Thank you Jordan for everything.

Very nice house and a good neighborhood. Good fishing in a nice lake that is very close to tellico plains. Also your close to tellico river which is stocked with trout.

Amazing lake stay!
We had an incredible stay at the lake house. The house is spaced out perfectly for 2 families with 3 kids. We spent all day our on the lake with all the supplied rafts, kayaks, paddle boat. It seemed like we had the entire lake to ourselves. So peaceful. The owners were very responsive and check in was a breeze. The house has everything you need! We will be back!

Very nice place. The upstairs was a little warm but fans were available. Many items to use in the lake. The owner was very friendly and easy to work with. He helped us when we needed to change our schedule. The kitchen was well equipped. It has a nice gas grill on the deck to cook outside. We are going back in a couple months to stay again.

Perfect Get-away
This is the ultimate relaxation spot. It's very private yet close enough to towns, restaurants, and many other places to visit and enjoy. The 60 acre lake is an added bonus. The views are beautiful. My granddaughter was very excited when she caught a fish. Even though most of our days were either rainy or cold, we enjoyed playing games and preparing meals inside this beautiful cabin. We always had a quick response from our host if any issues occurred. We had a wonderful time!

Quiet Lakeside Retreat / Mountain Getaway
If your looking for a lakeside retreat in the mountains this place will not disappoint. It’s a wonderful place to relax. Everything was exactly as described. The lake is just a few steps from the house . The surrounding deck is beautiful and is very welcoming . We view is breathtaking. We used the provided paddle boat. This house had something for everyone in our group. The owners replied quickly to any questions and supplied us with useful restaurant and area information. This place will be a favorite of ours. We definitely hope to repeat!

Nice cabin with beautiful lake view. Has everything you need to stay entertained for the adults and kids. The kids really enjoyed the sand and water. This was a much needed vacay for us, and it was so peaceful. Jordan was great with getting back to us fast when we needed something.

Amazing lake getaway!
The house and lake were amazing! We absolutely loved the location of the house, very secluded yet close enough to town. We all went kayaking for our first time and loved it! The weather was perfect! We walked the neighborhood almost everyday, the hills and turns made it a great hike! We traveled to Cades Cover and hiked to Abrams Falls as well as Blad River Falls in the Cherokee National Forest. Both are must sees! We went to the Lost Sea and Rock City and I would highly recommend both! We are at Iron Works and El Jimador and got ice cream from Lems which were all great! Jordan was great at giving recommendations and quickly to answer any questions we have. The house fry like home and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this property and hope to be back again some day!
