Absolutely loved Hotel Riu! Parking was pricey but being in a central location having an amazing variety of a breakfast buffet made up for it! Staff is amazing, incredibly nice and helpful with all of the recommendations and would help on the easiest way to get around madrid! My view to my room was not great but overall I would give it a 10/10!!!!! Madrid me encanto!!!

The location is great, breakfast amazing, friendly staff, and very clean. Our only suggestion is that there should be an exclusive section for customers on the 360 rooftop, it was always too crowded on the sunset time which unable us to enjoy and take pictures.

Good location, but…
The hotel is very well located, for Metro, taxi, walking to Plaza España, shops, restaurants. It has a great view from the 26 Sky bar terrace Now, the inconveniences are the following: not friendly welcome, everyone is stress out., no help with the luggage, and the worst was that the heating was set for very hot and we couldn’t change it. We call reception and an ingeniero that told us the solution was to leave the windows and door open, not a good solution, we kept calling for the matter and were ignored, if you want to control your a/c or your heating, this is not the hotel for you

Seleccioné una habitación de lujo con balcón. La vista es adecuada pero lateral. La habitación era estándar, amenities ninguno, más que dispensadores de jabón y shampoo pegados a la pared. Ningún otro amenity, ni siquiera gorrito de baño o algún tipo de jabón especial. En general bien, pero considero que el valor de la habitación no compensa lo que se recibe a cambio.

Room was large and breakfast good (though hot food could be better). Bedding wasn’t great and hotel seems dated. Thermostat in room did not work and got quite cold at night. Front desk was notified, never fixed.

Waited two hours to get checked in even after arriving at 3PM. They staff were not honest and kept telling us it was “Expedia’s” fault but that was just a lie for them not to take accountability. Specially a front desk clerked calls Ibrahim gave us the run around for hours and then just “left” because his shift was over.
