Great location
The hotel was in a great location only 5 minutes from the metro and right on a strip of popular shops. The room was somewhat small for two people but it was nonetheless comfortable and clean. It’s more vintage than I had imagined but the location and service made up for it. The employees were very nice and friendly. Absolutely no complaints.

The location was ok and property reasonably clean. However at first I was given very likely the smallest room in the hotel and no mini-bar/fridge (during the heat of August), even though in the description section it said all rooms had AC, balcony and mini-bar. I was allocated a better room (plus an empty fridge) the following day after I complained. Their cafe (though described as restaurant in the description page) closes as most guests are about to wake up (11:00 am), and the hotel bar does not operate in August; apparently bar staff rather be on holiday!! although again not mentioned in description page. All TV channels are in Spanish, so if you're not a native speaker you're stuffed. In short the hotel(?) offers zero value in entertainment; you merely get a room and that's it. The worst hotel I have stayed in in all my travels by a country mile, including the four previous occasions I had visited spain. The description of the hotel is not fully transparent and rather misleading.

Great hotel for people who speaks Spanish
This hotel is no where near major tourist area. However if you speak Spainsh this is a good hotel for you. The hotel is old but very clean and well maintented. Many good local restaurants and shops, two subway lines within walking distance. The Wifi is not so great and there is no Engish tv Chanel.
