The Elephant B&B

Maewang Elephant Homestay are located in Chiang Mai Meiwang Elephant Camp, about 40 kilometers from Chiang Mai downtown, about an hour's drive away. They are ecological home inns for public welfare. They are liked by European and American tourists because they advocate the concept of living with elephants. In particular, the characteristic service project of elephant calling early makes it a holy place for online red card punching. In addition to playing with elephants, there are many mountain village activities themed with elephants, such as running in the jungle, rafting, watching spectacular waterfalls, and experiencing exciting jungle leaps. If you like culture, you can also ask local people to guide you to introduce the animals and plants of northern Thailand, and experience the lifestyle and food of the Karen ethnic minority in northern Thailand.

Travelled with family
It was very difficult to get there, since google does not have any registered “elephant b&b.” Right out of the airport, ask to be taken to 3pok, and that’s where the hotel is. Other than that, you will have the time of your life, the tour guides are amazing, and they treated my kids very well. I highly recommend to any family with small children! I will definitely return!
