Things to Do in Malibu
Slip on your thongs and sunnies at one of the hotels in Malibu and waste no time claiming your relaxation zone at the shore. Nearby, check out the sea caves and rock formations at El Matador State Beach (don't forget your camera). Continue west to check out the Adamson House, a historic landmark built in the Spanish Colonial Revival style that’s sometimes called the “Taj Mahal of Tile”. Further east you'll find the Getty Villa, a premier museum housing art from ancient Greece, Rome and Etruria (and you can learn what Etruria is!).

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is about 50 km east of Malibu, making it easy to hang out in the “City of Angels” for a few days.
