About this property

Glamping Farm Tent

Make memories that will last long after the campfire is out. Enjoy the farm near Mammoth Cave National Park and Nolin Lake State Park when you stay here at Noble Pine Campground in our farm tent. Inside you'll find comfortable queen bed. The seating area chairs fold out into twin beds if needed. Tent is equipped with mini fridge, microwave, and coffee keurig, A/C,
The Mammoth Cave visitor center is a scenic 25 minute drive using green river ferry route (check ferry's schedule), and hiking /equine trails are about 800 feet from camp. Charcoal bbq, firepit, table & chairs, hammock await outside. You will use the campground bathrooms with hot showers about 100 yards away. Parking is a little further on. Farm animals include horses, goats, chickens, and bunnies. If you'd like to give them treats I'm happy to introduce everyone :). There is a possibility for bugs in this natural, pollinator supporting farm experience. The obvious thing to do is visit Mammoth Cave National Park! Lots of hiking in park as close as 800 feet from the campground. Horses are welcome at our campground, we provide stalls and the park trail across the road is horse friendly. There are several tours to choose from if you’re, you may want to choose a couple. We recommend getting tickets in advance as they do sell out. (Visitor center 20-25 minutes via Green River Ferry route)

Trail rides are provided at Double J Stables. (5 minutes) Advance reservation recommended.

Nearby there is Hickory Cabins, it’s more fast food type, and only couple couple minutes away. Opening for the season April -November, The Blue Holler Restaurant serves up German and American fare. Bee spring has KY Rock grill. Bouys at Wax Marina is a fun lake view experience

The Feedmill in Leitchfield (35 min) has good breakfast & lunch & there’s a Mexican restaurant, mi Camino Real, that’s good in that area too. There’s also a Peddler’s Mall in Leitchfield if that interests you.

In Bowling Green (50-55 min) there’s the corvette museum & lost river cave tour if you’re looking for more to do.

Cave city (across the ferry 25 min) has tourist friendly activities including various caves that have been open since the early 1900s. Kayaking tours available down Green River. There are attractions such as Dinosaur World, Kentucky Down Under, & Mammoth Cave Adventure. A favorite stop for me is Leo’s woodworking as you exit the park toward cave city.

I recently went to a cave tour in Horse Cave called hidden river cave (40 min) which was kinda neat. They have antique shops nearby in the little downtown.

10-15 minutes away is an Amish town called Cub Run. They have a couple shops, the Variety Shoppe & Detweilers, which has a small bakery and deli and everything from gardening to furniture. There is a separate hunting & fishing store.

Downtime
Just looking for a couple of days of downtime. Mother and daughter get away. Great host and very peaceful place. Even with the farm animals, it was nice and peaceful.

Great experience !
Super nice host, always helping from the fire pit to allowing the kids to pet and feed the farm animals. Place is quite, looks remote but it's only 10min from Nolin Lake and 20 min to Mammoth cave with ferry or 40ish without and going via cave city. Tons of things to do in the area. The gampling is amazing, comfortable enough but rural enough as well. Highly recommended !

Fun and rustic - great location for cave visit!
My husband and daughter really enjoyed their time in the farm tent! The communication from Kristen and Erik was the best we have ever experienced. They truly want to ensure their guests have a nice time and are prepared for their experience.

This place was amazing! The views are gorgeous, it’s close to the cave, and it is very kid-friendly. We loved it and we would love to come back again! Book the tents- you won’t regret it!

It was so lovely to be out and away from city life if just for two nights! Being able to sit by a fire and cook a steak and look up at the stars! Can’t see stars in the city. I would recommend highly for someone who just wants to get away!

Quiet getaway!
It was so nice and quiet! The owner helped get the fire started, offered to allow us to feed the horses and goats treats and made sure we didn’t have any questions about things to do in the area! The inside of the tent was clean and squared away- with cute little extras like supplies for s’mores! Would definitely stay again!
