This large but cozy condo at Fireside at The Village is only steps from The Village with a free gondola that whisks you to Canyon Lodge, and numerous Village shops and restaurants.

Enjoy the ultimate in convenience when you stay in one of our large one bedroom condos at Fireside. Village, shops, restaurants, and events are only steps away, without the noise or parking hassles.

Think of it - the perfect powder day, and no digging out your car, or waiting for a packed shuttle bus - just stroll over to the gondola! Summer stays are also special - breakfast on the deck, and just steps to the mountain bike shuttle, local festivals, and the new path or shuttle to the Lakes basin.

Fireside 114 is a renovated first floor condo that features a cozy decor with all the comforts of home. There is new carpet, and a new Tuft and Needle king bed in the bedroom, and a great queen sleeper sofa in the living room across from the wood burning fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped, and the large deck has a gas grill. There is a flat screen TV with DVD, wireless high internet access, and a second flat screen in the bedroom. Keyless entry makes for easy access, and a ski closet is provided for all your gear.

Towels and linens are provided. The condo has wireless high speed internet. Parking for one car is provided, with additional vehicles accommodated on a space available basis.

The Fireside complex is small and quiet, but features a great indoor pool, sauna and hot tub with views of the Sherwins.

This is a non smoking condo. Smoking is only allowed outside. Pets may be allowed on a case by case basis, subject to a pet fee, but are not generally accepted over the holidays.

Clean condo, centrally located at Mammoth Village. Very close to everything, parking very convenient. The small patio and grill were great and we were able to make the rooms very dark which was great for our baby's naps.

Location, location and little else
The location of this condo cannot be beat but the unit is in desperate need of a deep clean. The unit looks and feels dated and dirty with old, thick carpet floors and layers of dust on the nightstands, light fixtures and the headboard. There were also stains on the white sheets - one speck of blood and two other yellow stains of unknown origin. The light fixtures in the kitchen, hallway and bedroom all buzz which was annoying, but the worst part of this unit is the disgusting pink mold shower curtain that needs to be bleached or replaced ASAP. We notified the property manager with photos all of the above and were told the feedback about their cleaners has been great and we could vacate the unit for a re-"cleaning". Unfortunately that didn't work for me as I'm recovering from a major surgery and am unable to drive or walk more than a block. As a paying guest you shouldn't be expected to leave a property you paid to be in. It was also odd that the unit did not advertise that it does not have central heat but rather two wall heaters, one in the dining room and one in the bedroom. As longtime renters on various platforms, it would be helpful for the property managers to send the check in instructions at the time of booking, not at the time of check in, as we were unable to print the parking pass because we'd already arrived to the unit. Printing instructions inside the unit for Wifi and fireplace instructions (glaringly missing) would also be helpful.

Amazing location!
Extremely convenient location in the Village. A couple of minutes to walk to the gondola, which was the major selling point of the unit. Great communication with the manager when we had a parking issue. The unit is slightly older and the bathroom is on the smaller side. But all in all, a great rental.

Super convenient to Canyon Lodge!
We enjoyed our stay at Fireside unit 114. We planned a ski trip to Mammoth and I was looking for a place in the Village with a king sized bed, a bed for my son, and not crazy overpriced. This place fit the bill. It’s a five minute walk to the gondola (Canyon Lodge), the king bed was comfy and the sofa bed has a memory foam mattress so it was actually pretty decent (my 10 year son had no complaints). Additionally, the indoor pool in a fun feature, the kitchen is decently stocked, and the keyless check in is a breeze. The only downside is it’s a ground floor unit so if people are in the unit above you, you will definitely hear them stomping around and water loudly thumping through the pipes after flushing (I think?). But I suppose that comes with the territory of condo living. That said, I still recommend the unit for the ease of access to Canyon Lodge!
