Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. Will definitely stay here again. We were hiking Yosemite and we found it easy to travel to the park. Mammoth inn was very quiet and we loved it.

Right in the center of activities on the mountain. Friendly staff Surprised to discover that our visit right after Labor Day meant many activities were closed during the week. We had fun in the area anyway. Few guests in the hotel so wasn't crowded.

I've never been to a ski lodge, and this was the perfect place to start. The Lodge was warm and inviting, the fireplace was going. Our room was large and close to the parking garage. I was happy that every room had a portable fan, a portable humidifier and a small heater. I would love to come during ski season! The tram ride was wonderful.

The beds were comfortable and the fridge worked well. The whole facility needs to update it's carpet and amenities in general. The little snack bar/coffee/store needs some attention as well. The breakfast food and the restaurant both had excellent service and very good food.
