**experience notes**
*the bunkhouse is detached and located about 70’ from the main house, it is only a bedroom. ***All bathrooms are inside the main house***
* this property is tucked deep in the woods. The dirt road accessing it is maintained regularly, but often will be rough and will require that you drive slowly. :)
* some peoples phones/ GPS stop working in the valley. They will work once you get to the house and connect to the hotspot but be sure to take a screen shot if the directions in case you lose reception on the way.
*the kitchen is modest (the polite way of saying small), the dining room is spacious and welcoming. Make sure that if you have a large group you add some extra time for preparing meals. The dining room table has four chairs and you can pull up the bench that is under the desk for an additional seat. There is also a large picnic table just outside the back door.
* this is a wonderful stay for people who enjoy artful attention to detail and those who find old timey, homespun spaces cozy and beautiful. If your main values include ‘new’ or ‘perfect’, this stay is NOT for you. If you a enjoy rustic, colorful, wild, natural beauty, you are this places person. ;) The home is very clean but it is not brand new. So, to those who love and honor the value and beauty of homespun, careful, heartfelt curation, welcome!
*** There is no AC at the cabin. Open the windows wide at night and close them in the morning. This is usually sufficient to keep the house nice and cool and if not, you can always go take a refreshing dip in the river.
