Featuring high end finishes, a gourmet custom kitchen with GE Appliances, granite countertops w/ subway tile backsplash, and functional wood stove w/ stone hearth. The owner's suite bedroom features a primary bathroom with double bowl vanity and tile shower. Outside you will find a two tiered deck on 1/2+ acres. Home is located just off Route 283 within a short drive to Spooky Nook Sports Complex and inside of 30 minutes to Hershey Park.

Set along a paved roadway, only one neighbor to the left when facing the home. Short drive to shopping/restaurants. 2 minutes to Spooky Nook, and a short drive to Historic Mount Joy, with many shops and restaurants. Convenient access to route 283/30, Tanger and Rockvale Outlet shopping.

Recommended excursion to Chickies Rock in Marietta, a breathtaking scenic view above the Susquehanna river. Great location to take in a Sunset due to western facing overlook. Enjoy a picnic or a hike/bike ride on one of the many nearby trails.

House was very nice. Had issue with shower head in master bath. All of us had to use one shower during our stay. Never got an answer from owners on how to fix the issue.

Great Property

This was my group's second stay at this property. Easy check in, the property is clean and has a bunch of the kitchen basics. There was an instance where we needed to contact the host who was super responsive and took care of a small issue right away for us. Cute decor and a cozy vibe with a comfortable couch and beds make it a great place to stay while visiting the area. We will definitely be back the next time we have an event in the area!

1 mile away from spooky nook !

Charming farmhouse -! Comfy beds - plenty of room for families . We went in the winter time and it was very well heated -nice laundry room and kitchen area with all utensils and kitchen equipment -best part was location for us- we were only one mile from spooky nook for our tournaments !

Cozy, cute, and plenty of space!!

We came into town for a wrestling tournament at Spooky nook. The location of the house could not have been better for that! We were just a 3 minute drive from there! The house was lovely! Beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable, and had all the space we needed for our family of 5! Our kids enjoyed the very upstairs hangout space. We look forward to coming back!

Oasis in the country

My family of 8 stayed here overnight after my parent’s internment in Shenandoah on our return to DC. Very relaxing, super cute farmhouse. Plenty of rooms for every one. We enjoyed hanging in the family room with the big TV. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cookware, etc…. The location is semi rural, and neighbors next door have tarp covered dwellings and perhaps a bit sketchy. We did not have any issues with the neighborsL. House was convenient to local attractions.

A Very Well appointed House

This was a wonderful house for our group of two families. The property was very clean and had everything we needed from towels, linens, and extra toiletries, to a well stocked kitchen with enough cookware and utensils and condiments. The space was very clean and there was space for us to congregate together, but also space for us to be alone. I would highly recommend this space for families and friends if you wanted stay in the area.

The house was clean and accommodated the whole family comfortably. The location is perfect for both Hershey Park and the Amish tour, was midway for both. The house has character with some of the original farmhouse feel but also nicely updated with great appliances and furnishings. It is great for a family get away.

Stayed with friends while in the area for a tennis tournament. The house was very clean and well stocked with all the basics. The rental worked well for a group with 2 bathrooms upstairs (one very large one with master bedroom) and 1/2 bath downstairs. Beds were comfortable and nice back porch and patio. There was one issue w air conditioning upstairs which was very quickly addressed. After the fix, the upstairs room was made very cool on a hot day so that space is very usueable in summer. Highly recommend this rental if it is the area you are looking to stay.

Well equipped clean hose - perfect for our short 2 day stay!

In town for a sports tournament and a few of us shared the house - a great home base. Had everything we needed in the kitchen and house was very clean. Check in was easy and the owner communicated everything well! Definitely recommend if you need something in the area.

We had to come up for a funeral so it was so nice to have a place for the whole family to stay. Loved all the bedrooms and living room was great for us to catch up with each other. The kitchen was beautiful. Would stay again if back in the area.

Great spot near Spooky Nook

The house was very conveniently located for our tournament at Spooky Nook. The hosts were super quick to respond when asking about check in procedure. Everything in the house was clean and the space was really cute. Plenty of room for our group. Would definitely stay here for future events.

Beautiful and convenient

The house was better than even the beautiful pictures. A great mix of keeping with the original farmhouse and modern updates. More than enough room for my spouse, teen, brother, and parents. We really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen. It had all the things to easily prepare a meal. My husband was over the moon to discover the spice rack and oils already available. The location was quiet and the road was not very busy at all. Easy on to highway and major roads. Lots of local restaurants, gas station, and supermarket within 5 minutes. Plenty of entertainment nearby. We will definitely stay again when in the area!

Lovely home

This is an absolutely lovely home with so many thoughtful details. A great surprise was how wonderful the back deck and yard are. The kids had such fun running around and catching fireflies! We had a really great time visiting with three generations for a nearby family reunion. It was also an easy drive to Hershey, which was perfect. A previous reviewer mentioned a problem with the AC, and we ititially had a similar issue. After contacting Amy, though, she sent a local handyman out to us within hours. By that evening, the house was much cooler. We so appreciated the host's responsiveness to our issue. I wouldn't recommend this house to folks with difficulty with stairs, since the stairs going up the the bedrooms are very steep. It was fine for us, but I just wanted to mention it for others to consider. Overall, it's a great house and highly recommended!
