Rather disappointed with the stay at Okura Manila. Paid so much for the room nights with breakfast only to be informed that buffet breakfast available on weekends. Not that we need to eat a lot at buffet but at least we could have a wider selection of food like salad, etc. On Feb 17 (Friday) and Feb 18 (Saturday), no buffet too, only set breakfast was served. Food from the kitchen took a long time and there was lack of service staff; we had to get attention for coffee refill.

A room was wonderfully appointed very clean and what you would expect from a Japanese hotel. It exceeded our expectations. It’s location is wonderful because it’s adjacent to the Newport mall and you don’t even have to walk outside just walk out through the second floor down a hallway in your in this mall with wonderful restaurants and shopping. It’s close to the airport too. They helped provide me with the shuttle service to and from the airport so I didn’t have to stress. Traveling internationally is sometimes a challenge but staying here made it very easy
