What a great place to stay in Marathon. Not staying longer is our only regrets. It's a little paradise. Next to the 7 miles bridge, you can borrow bicycle free of charge to do it. Will be back in the futur :)

The toilet is not working there is no electricity in half of the efficiency and there is mold inside the closet these in the sombrero efficiency these is my sister’s room our efficiency yesterday the starfish was very clean but the staircase it is too steep it is dangerous

We got mixed up on our itinerary-- and checked out a day early. We were told we had to physically check out at the office. My husband took the keys up and they never asked us why we were leaving a day early....obviously, it on us but it would have been nice if they said something...we would have stayed another day--as we paid for it. We got to Miami only to find out our reservation there did not start until the following day. Captain Pips never even called us. I called to follow up. I asked staff if they tried to contact us--they said they should have--I asked well did they? Oh yes they did and they checked the contact numbers--our phones never received a call from Pips. Refund was denied. I think Pips could have at least called us and not fibbed about doing so...or noted this at check out and asked us if there was a problem since we were checking out a day early.....it was a cool place, right on the water, and we would have liked to stay another night. We had been gone from home nearly a month---we were getting tired and lost track of our itinerary.

It was a cozy and super clean establishment. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice and quiet please to stay. The room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was large and also super clean. Room also came with a small kitchen area.

Snorkeling on the property was so convenient and enjoyable. Larry and Hope are great and know a lot about the local area and Sombrero Reef we snorkeled around. They made sure we were safe on the boat and in the water. Thank you for an great adventure. S & R Cooper 9/22/2024

Captain Pips has cozy apartments. The property has everything you need. A restaurant right outside our door. The check in was seamless the office has cold drinks and snacks plus a gift shop. We went on the snorkeling adventure with Hope and Larry they are friendly, great, and very knowledgeable on the reef and local area. It’s a must see. We will definitely will visit Captain Pips property again. Thank you for a great time.

Awesome stay! If you’re spending your days on the water and your evenings with live music at local restaurants, this place is perfect. Why go to the Keys and spend all of your time in a hotel room? It has everything you need with great service. Free bikes, kayaks, and opportunities to charter a boat or jet ski. Our rooms was older (fridge & AC a bit loud, stove with some rust) with some basic DIY fixups. If you’re planning to spend a lot of time in your hotel room and you like the fancy & modern, you’ll need to spend more money going somewhere else. I say spend your money on boating, bait, and Capt. Pips.

I was really dissapointed at checked in when they told me checkout time is 10 am. What!! I am on vacation! I have stayed everywhere and never has the checkout time be this early. The apartment was supposed to have a garden view but the only view we had was of rocks and semi dead palm trees. We really did not a parking space assigned to.our apt. The sofa bed was barely unsleepable and unconfortable. Had to close it and sleep on the bare sofa. The shower had no pressure at all. Bed was comfortable and overall it served its purpose for a one day stay.
