Great staff! Big clean room. But... The room heater is tied to a light switch in the entrance, so you have to leave the light on to get the heat and it doesn't regulate it well for such a large room. Terrible roof, parking lot view and a jumping stomping family above the first day. As for eggs, if you like anything but omelets (especially egg white omelets) or cold whole eggs in impossible to remove shells, you'll be disappointed. Provide warm whole eggs in the shell or cold eggs without the shell. And, who serves oatmeal without brown sugar? I went out and bought some for the next day. And, forget the cheap Yoplait yogurt. It's terrible. And, who serves chicken sausage patties? Pork breakfast sausage, only pork.

This was the best hotel that we stayed in during our one week trip in California. It looks new and you can see the Hilton difference in details. Too bad we checked in late at night and were on the move again the next morning. But we sure got a good night's sleep and woke up refreshed. The massage shower head was also much appreciated. The breakfast was basic but sufficient with plenty of options (bagel, muffins, toast, waffle, cereal, fruit, yogurt, eggs and bacon, etc). Scrambled eggs were very dry, otherwise everything was OK. I also appreciated the filtered water refill stations they have. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The surrounding area as well as room and lobby were clean and well kept. There’s a walmart and gas stations nearby, which is very convenient, and the beach is walking distance. Will definitely return here on my next Monterey County trip.

The room was lovely and large, beds comfortable. Needed more sound proofing - could hear the upstairs people stomping around. Also was surprised by a $10 fee for parking - might have missed this when I booked. Breakfast was excellent!

The property was well-maintained, reflecting the signature Hampton Inn style I appreciate. The breakfast room was particularly impressive - spacious and inviting with a modern interior design. One minor drawback was the parking situation; while advertised as available, there was a fee associated with it, which wasn't ideal. Aside from that, we had a pleasant stay.
