Second time staying at this property. Room was clean, bed comfortable and a marvelous breakfast was provided by the owner. The property has a relaxing atmosphere and is well maintained. Walking distance (by footpath) to the National Trust Heritage Site of Avebury. The area has a rich history back to Neolithic times. The owner of the property is very knowledgeable to the area history and folklore. She is an excellent resource to assist guests get the most of the Avebury experience.
We stayed in the double bed with ensuite. The room was adequate, but there was only one chair in the room and no TV. Breakfast was adequate but the hot food was limited to eggs with a fried mixture of potatoes and beans. The best thing about this B&B is its close proximity to the Avebury Henge (stone circle).

Maybe it would be better if you're driving otherwise it's inconvenient. Never talked with the person in charge but it felt kinda weird. We felt we had to whisper all the time.
Had a very enjoyable stay. Antionette was lovely and helped us in many ways, has great knowledge of the area. Avebury was the highlight of our trip to England.
Towels were ratty, the sheets were tatty. One could hardly turn around in the shower of lukewarm water. The kitchen looked none too clean. Worst of all, our hostess was not welcoming, accommodating, or gracious. The only time she smiled was when we left. Breakfast was good, but we had to ask for napkins!
