The place is huge and very clean. Close to almost anything you need. The showers can be better but they do the job. The breakfast is great and the ladies who make it are amazing. highly recommend.

Lovely hidden riad deep in the medina.
We had a great room, the Oeuf Room with an awesome bath tub. It was quiet and the hosts were very nice. It was difficult to find, but once we found it, it was fun to have this secret hidden away lair to return to each night after exploring the city. Definitely a nice place to stay.

It is a nice Riad very close to the centre of Medina. The staff is really friendly. The old the old part of Marrakech was a shock to us when we arrived. I am not sure I will stay in the centre of Medina next time as I

We had written a review to our hotel directly but had received no reply. We where not checked in and the manager was no where to be found. It advertises as a restaurant but when asking for a snack where told nothing was in the kitchen... 2 nights in a row. Staff are unwelcoming and when checking out received no goodbye from the lady. On a whole i would avoid this hotel

Nice place if you want a traditional riad
Very friendly, nice staff, helped us organise trips, massage, find our way round the local area Riad has a lot of charm, traditional features Rooms are very clean and beds/sheets comfortable Breakfast was good but a bit repetitive if you stay multiple days (we stayed 4 nights) We had a nice dinner there one night too. Wifi in our part of the riad did not work at all. We had to go to the main part for any wifi at all and that was limited - for a family holiday no/limited wifi is not the end of the world (kids may disagree!) but is is nice after an excursion to to some online research of where we went / plan the next day, so this was frustrating. And be prepared for the imam doing the early morning call to prayers! Overall an enjoyable part of our Marrakech experience - nice to stay in a traditional venue rather than a modern hotel

Despite a travel arrangement snafu, I had a great stay at Riad 02 to celebrate my birthday. Annette, Moad, Hassan, Rachida, and the rest of the staff were helpful with providing directions, recommendations, and more. The jacuzzi was a great way to end busy nights walking the maze-like Medina. If you're lucky, you might get to hear Gnawa performances on nearby rooftops. I didn't try the dinner but the breakfast was tasty.

Beautiful riad in the heart of the old town
We couldn't wish for a better hotel to stay in! The room was beautiful, very spacious and very nicely decorated. The stuff doesn't speak much English, but we didn't have any problems to sort anything with them out. The breakfast on the terrace was amazing and also very tasty. They served us whenever we needed. You will not stay directly at the main square which was a really good thing for us as we like to stay and eat like locals, not tourists. The jacuzzi was lovely as well. I would highly recommend it to everyone who wants to experience true Marrakesh in a beautiful place.

Authentic riad - a pleasure to return to
A fantastic place to stay with warm welcoming staff. So pleasant and happy to take on board any wishes such as meal requests. A little cold inside (which can be a relief in the hot summer months) and no room facilities as such (no hairdryer, tea or coffee making facilities) but really interesting, clean, individual rooms. We loved it here. Thank you

Great staff but services not so good
Food needs to be improved. I ordered food for the night, as the hotel is located a bit far from closely restaurants. It was prepared in the afternoon and then reheated for me at night. So it was not so fresh. Getting the taxi from hotel on arrival is highly recommended as the place is hard to find. Then for the departure it´s best to take a local taxi and pay half the price. They have a nice hammam but massage therapist was not so good. So, probably better to go to specialized places in town.

Good Hotel and staff but poor food
Breakfast was a complete let down. Only 2 types of jams and honey with bread! A small jar of orange juice in a country who grows orange plenty. No protein at all (no cheese or eggs)! 17 Euro/person dinner was just a rip-off. You can get better food here with that money in UK. Not recommended family with children at all.

Lovely Stay at Riad 02
We had a lovely time staying at the Riad O2 recently. The staff were very attentive and so friendly. Prior to our stay I emailed the riad and they offered to make a cake for my boyfriend's birthday. The reason for our trip. It was such a nice gesture. We would defintely recommend staying here!

BEAUTIFUL FELT LIKE FAMILY :)
Felt like we were staying at a family holiday house! The staff well looked after us,cooked us fresh breakfast every morning (moroccan pancakes, fruit, butter, honey, jam, mint tea, coffee),helped us with taxi service and excursions..we also booked a spa day at the riad,we had private therapists for the hammam and massage, well worth the money, plus we got the jacuzzi boiling hot all to ourselves :) The riad is located in the Medina area, the centre of the old town, great area to experience the real Marrakech. Half hour walk to the main square or 5mins by taxi. Lots of local shops and restaurants around, walking distance. Very clean place, towels changed every day,air conditioner/heater in bedroom, drinks available to purchase at the riad or free tea/coffee at any time :) Thank you to the whole team for helping us bring home great memories of Morocco!

Perfect for medina visits.
Stay was great, organised the transfer from the airport Hicham was waiting to collect us even though we landed early with sign for riad o2. I would suggest this transfer, I have been to morocco several times and when you arrive it aviods the hassle of negotiating prices for taxis and also navigating through the intertwining maze of paths to locate the riads. On arrival we completed some paperwork and our bags taken to our room. We walked into the medina on the first evening, this was a 15-20 minute walk. Good if your happy to walk, otherwise it's approx 80dirham for a taxi. The room was narrow and two single beds but we did book this so would be ideal if you were travelling as friends or don't like to share with your partner :-S Breakfast was good, had it on the roof in the morning sun, very picturesque. Overall the staff were friendly and accommodating. Good location, clean room and excellent price. We did only stay one night as we just wanted to visit the medina for one evening and then moved out of town to a villa.

Okay Riad
The two cooks and nightwatchman at the Riad o2 were great but the guy who checked us in, and the only one who spoke English and said he'd be there for our 3 day stay to ask him anything, vanished after the first day and one of the cooks checked us out. Lack of communication from his part left us feeling slightly jilted about a day-tour we expected to include more than it did. We are two girls and not about to go off alone into the jungle with a random guy who said he was a "guide" to the waterfalls after approaching us at a riverside restaurant we ate at. Because of this, and because we thought we'd be joining another group and not going alone with a stranger and without our driver, we declined on the trek, which felt like we didn't get our money's worth. Overall, though, a good Riad in a quiet neighbourhood right outside of the start of the Souq. A 15 minute walk to the Square and close to a taxi rank. But don't rely on the staff at the Riad to be helpful with information outside of their own cooking and waiting duties. If you don't speak French or Arabic it can be a challenge communicating. Our biggest gripe was the beds. Concrete hard mattresses and flat pillows. Our necks and hips were aching after 3 nights. It might have been better to sleep on the roof terrace sunbeds. Individual rooms don't have locks on the doors so don't leave anything in the room without securing it.
