Coastal Getaway - Our new cottage is only a 5 minute walk to the beach

This unique place has a style all of its own. Nestled into the hill on the highest part of our farm sits our newly built 1 bedroom cottage. The space has a fully equiped kitchen, washer dryer combo, internet, smart tv and heating and cooling. We have tried to make the most of the space to make it comfortable & relaxing. The beach is only a short 5 minute walk away, or you can admire it from the cottage. Whilst it is only 1 bedroom with a queen bed the sofa does pull out into a bed should you require an additional guest or travelling with a friend. Please ensure you book for 3 people so we know to leave extra linen.

Mount View is a triumph - congratulations to the owners. Brilliant accommodation in every regard. Wonderful: house, decor, facilities, view and location. Top notch communication. A kitchen with every ingredient and equipment you could desire. A lovely garden area where you can take a bath under the stars. Wonderful Inn up the road that has great meals for every budget - from Wagu steak to fish and chips. Do yourself a great favour and make this a base or stop off point for exploring the Tarkine and beyond.

Fantastic Place

I stayed for a week in this wonderful beachside accommodation. The cottage is exceptionally well equipped and wonderfully decorated. It has a lovely view out over Green Point beach and it is set in a peaceful farm surround. The cottage is very new and was extremely clean. Stuart is a wonderful host and for a couple or a single person wanting an escape to a great wilderness area it is certainly the best cottage in Australia I have rented.

On the edge of Tasmania

We enjoyed exploring the coast and the Tarkine in this remarkable part of Tassie. The cottage was extremely comfortable and very well equipped. We would love to have stayed much longer!
