A Gem
The staff, particularly Leah, were so friendly and helpful. The bathrooms that have a tub/shower can be awkward getting in and out in a tight space but we had plenty of quality linens, the beds were very comfortable, they had several English speaking news outlets and the location is perfect. One short block from the old port, restaurants everywhere and small upscale shops. Very good breakfast.

Our check in was fast and friendly. Room was a bit small but very doable. The breakfast was great which even had some salad items. Good selection of juices and coffees. Checkout also very friendly. We are returning in 3 nights. Good deal all around!

I like the contemporary decoration in the lobby. The receptionist was very welcoming and she spoke English which was very good for me. She answered all my questions. The room was comfortable and I slept well.

Stayed 2 nights and our room is on 2nd floor. Booked it through expedia so check in is quick. Only had to deal with staff when leaving room key in and out. Pictures/reviews are deceiving for this property. Not worth the money and stay. Only good thing is steps away from the port but that is all you get with heavy tourist. The room we had (Superior double room) is so small. Bathroom door is hitting the bed when open. Very crammed. We are aware of small hotel rooms in Europe but this one is one of the worst. The hotel advertised with AC but they had it locked and controlled. They only switched on the air for a short time just to cool the room then it is off at night! After you shower the room gets so stuffy! Our room has windows but DO NOT OPEN IT! MOSQUITOS! We are up and hardly got any sleep during our stay. It is very loud and noisy. Yes you are on vacation but you still want to get some good sleep at night, you will be surrounded with noise all night through morning. Inside the hotel hallway/stairs the lights are motion sensor so it is off and dark. Again, seems all is controlled. There is nothing good about our stay here and experience, prob the first and last visit to Marseille. I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel I need to share our experience with this hotel. We don’t know why this hotel got good reviews. Please stay away and book a hotel farther from Vieux Port.

Lovely hotel and within a few minutes walk from the harbour. Metro Vieux Port exit is a couple of minutes from the Hotel entrance. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable. Buffet breakfast had a nice variety of food, really good quality and serviced by a lovely friendly lady. Would definitely stay here again as and when in Marseille.

This is a great little private hotel with a wonderful location. Hotel owner made an effort to make sure our days were full of adventures. Staff was friendly and breakfast was always ready! Coffee machines were excellente’!

This hotel is in a perfect location for visitors who want to be near the old Harbor of Marseille and has great access to the metro, tram and buses. I ended up staying there for a week and the front desk. Staff were most helpful with suggestions and information. My only criticism is that my room was just a tad small for a week’s stay, But I’m very glad that I was there for my first visit to the wonderful city of Marseille.

The hotel staff suggested to take taxi to airport. I asked front desk staff the cost since I know Uber costs. The staff told me it would be 45 euros, actually it is 75 euros. I believe the staff get some commission from taxi. So no trust them . It is not good ! The taxi took 25 mins without traffic at all.
