Amazing stay - it's definitely a secluded and stunning place That said, there are a lot of dogs are in the property and I'm sorry to say but as much as I love pets... maybe it would worth telling people that they will have a dog as their neighbors... it's sometime loud. It's not 5 stars. It's 3.5. The walls are thin and you will hear loud banging from people that are not directly above you. It's loud enough that if it were NY the police would be called. The staff opens and closes the doors constantly and they slam shut. You'll just hear doors open, closing, nonstop. I slept with earbuds. The property is small and you are on top of people. I stayed 6 nights and only got 1 morning of rest after the people that weren't even above me left. I paid $600 during the off season Sept. 29th-Oct 5th. It's a $350 off season place. You'd be better off staying at an Airbnb nearby and just going to the restaurant and spa. Do not stay there. Also the loud rooms are ugly. They first put me in a room on the first floor, facing the parking lot and highway where people chain smoke below. It was large, but so ugly. Then they moved me to the 2nd floor where I was assaulted by the sounds above. They thought I wasn't good enough to be put in a suite which I didn't really want, just wanted peace and they then wanted to move me again to the 1st floor. I wish I would have gone to my usual place- Hôtel Tiara Yaktsa Côte d'Azur. Meanwhile I'm writing this from a suite of Domaine du Mas de Pierre Hôtel Resort & Spa, Relais & Châteaux, an actual 5 star hotel. With staff that are aware of what  hospitality means and the business that they are in.

We really enjoyed the area, location of this property as well as the view and beautiful grounds, but unfortunately, this property does not meet the standards of 5 star hotels on the inside. The property rooms are in need of major renovations. The rooms are small, the bathroom in the classic rooms has a tiny sink designed for children, not adults. The beds are uncomfortable, dirty hallway carpets and food is very average. Breakfast service had limited choices and same food everyday. Service at breakfast and dinner was painfully slow. Staff forgot our orders…one breakfast, it took 30 mins to get a cold cappuccino after flagging the servers multiple times. The concierge tries to sell you the most expensive services including boats, car service and other excursions. We were told that €90 euro car service was our only option to get to a dinner in la cuitat and Bolt and taxi wasn’t an option. I was able to call Bolt and arrived within minutes at the hotel. I was also extremely disappointed with the front desk staff for forgetting to cancel one of our dinner reservations. The restaurant called us after that we missed our reservations and were disappointed that the reservation wasn’t canceled. They also recommended a terrible, awful tourist trap restaurant in Cassis harbor called chez galbert. The food was absolutely disgusting and ridiculously overpriced. Though, we did not have a great experience with several aspects of this hotel, we did enjoy the spa and our massage.

This hotel is just EXQUISITE. The luxury is in the entire experience, from the boutique like feel to the pleasant calmness despite the large number of guests. The staff's service is fantastic and truly makes the experience a 5 star at this hotel. I would like to give a special thanks to both Florians from concierge and door service that would never tire of offering lifts to nearby destinations, recommendations of good restaurants. Also to Mifta, a big thank you as he was very friendly and kind and looked after us both well!
