On Lake Corpus Christi/Mathis/Lake City TX. Water view from the house and yard. When privacy is a necessity, in nature's surroundings, this is the place. This 1 bedroom 1 bath home puts you close to the water. This is right on nature's edge. Short walk to water for fishing. Wake up in morning and the lake is your destination all day long for fishing, wading, birding, sitting and relaxing, listen to music or simply take in the quiet serenity, of peaceful wooded, country living. Watch sunrise and beautiful sunsets, birds like snowy egrets, great blue herons, wood ducks and mallards. Adventurous then bring your toys, jet ski, kayak or boat, boat ramp near by and if you needed more of the lake, the Lake Corpus Christi State Park is minutes away by boat or land. Home is equipped with stove and refrigerator. Only the lower level of this 2 story home is the rental. An open kitchen/dining/living/common area. 1 bedroom (king bed) (queen mattress for additional). There is a covered walk-around concrete porch for relaxing. If you make this base destination you are 10 minutes to Mathis, 15 to Orange Grove, 30 minutes to Sinton/Alice/George West/Beeville. 45 to Corpus Christi and CC Airport, 50 minutes to Rockport-Fulton. 1 hour South to Padre Island National Seashore. 1 and half hour North to San Antonio. Some attractions in Corpus are Texas State Aquarium, Whataburger Field, Shopping mall, Gulf of Mexico make nice day trips. Then come back for relaxing with out the crowd.
