Perfect for a quiet getaway, family time, or business stay. The home has been completely remodeled. 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a sleeper sofa in the living room. When you initially drive in the neighborhood surrounding it up and coming with a lot of homes being renovated. The decor is modern black and gold. Quiet nights, birds in the morning, lots of fresh air. Country yet convenient. 10 min. to Hwys I-40/I-85/Hwy 119 & Hwy 54. Same to local shops & food.
For antiques/pubs, Downtown Mebane is less than 5 min. Scenic Saxapahaw and Burlington, 15 min. Chapel Hill/Carrboro 20 min. NO PETS, not even service animals. No smoking or Vaping. The property is under surveillance 24hrs. There is one camera located at the front of the house. It is a doorbell camera and it operates through motion detection. We have a strict 21 minimum age restriction.
Other things to note:
All guests are required to sign the rental agreement and adhere to all of the house rules located in the guidebook. All guests are required to send an inquiry to book for prior approval.
Please do not use our white towels for spills please use a paper towel or mop located in the laundry room.
Please do not place plastic utensils in the oven.
Please note that these times are strictly enforced and that arriving before 3 pm or checking out after 11 am without prior approval is against our policies. We must make sure we have adequate time to properly sanitize and clean for the next guest. Failure to abide by these requested check-ins and check-out times will result in a $50 fine for every 30-minute violation before or after the times provided. Keys are ONLY provided during emergency situations. If the key is lost you will be charged $100 for a lock and key change fee.

Smoking Policy
This is a smoke-free home. No smoking of ANY substance including vaping. There is a $500 fine for smoking inside the home.
There are smoke sensors located inside the home. If any smoke sensor is activated, the local police will be contacted to collect fines and the reservation will be canceled.
Unlike typical smoke detectors that use light or radiation to detect general particles (dust, smoke, steam, etc.), our sensors use technology to detect specific molecules in tobacco smoke and marijuana smoke. If you need to smoke you can do so on the front porch. The cigarette receptacle is there for a reason, use it, please. DO NOT throw cigarette butts in our front yard. No smoking in the backyard unless you plan to discard your cigarettes in the front receptacle.
If drugs or drug paraphernalia are found in the unit you will be fined $250 as this is a violation of our rules and state law.
NO PETS ALLOWED
Absolutely no pets are allowed without written permission. There is a $200 fine for pets that come into the unit without prior written permission. If allowed by the owners there will be a $150 pet fee required.
Additional Guests / Occupancy Limit
The total number of guests in the rental must not exceed what is listed on the reservation details. Additional guests are not permitted on the property. If you need to change your guest count, please contact us accordingly so we may update your itinerary. A $100 fine per guest, will be assessed if extra guests are found on site. If the reservation is for two people only and 6 beds are slept in you will be charged an additional $400, unless given approval in writing via VRBO message.
No Event/Party Policy
NO PARTIES
We know this beautiful listing looks like it might be a good party destination, but we are under STRICT INSTRUCTIONS from the owner of this property to stop this from occurring.
Our Property Manager lives 2 minutes away and will get in touch with us immediately if there is any evidence of gatherings over the maximum of 6 guests (as per the listing description) after 10 pm.
This is an awesome place to stay for families, couples, or small groups, but if you are thinking of having a party or a party disguised as a baby shower, a party disguised as a friend getaway it wonāt work and this wonāt be the right listing for you.
Breaching this rule will result in immediate eviction and loss of security deposit.
There is a $500 fine for guests who violate our no party or large gathering rule. Unless otherwise authorized in writing by Be Polite Short Term Rentals. Loud celebrations, parties, or other private events (collectively āeventsā) are not to be held at the rental property during your occupancy. Holding an event without receiving prior approval, permit, or permission from BP Short Term Rentals is considered abuse and breach of these Terms and Conditions and is cause for immediate termination of occupancy. Upon any infraction of rules, BP Short Term Rentals may, at its sole option, terminate all agreements with you, including termination of occupancy immediately. In this event, you will forfeit all monies, including security deposits if applicable.
REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE
We cannot guarantee against mechanical failure of heating, air conditioning, appliances, TVs, or amenities. Please report any inoperative equipment to us promptly. BP Short Term Rentals will make every reasonable effort to have repairs done quickly and efficiently. If you demonstrate that the problem persists after being given phone instructions by a BP Short Term Rentals property associate, a maintenance service professional will be dispatched.
NO REFUNDS OR RENT REDUCTIONS WILL BE MADE DUE TO MECHANICAL FAILURES OR MALFUNCTIONS, INTERRUPTIONS OF UTILITIES, MAINTENANCE PROBLEMS, OR CONSTRUCTION IN THE AREA. WHILE BP SHORT-TERM RENTALS WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO REPAIR ANY MAINTENANCE ISSUE IN A TIMELY MANNER, IT CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT THE ISSUE WILL BE FIXED DURING A GUEST STAY, AS THE COMPANY MAY HAVE TO GO THROUGH HOME WARRANTIES. BP SHORT TERM RENTALS will always look for alternative solutions to ensure and prioritize guest comfort.
Communicate any issues you have as soon as you become aware of them so we can lend a helping hand.
VIOLATIONS REQUIRING REMOVAL FROM PROPERTY
If we must dispatch the security company to remove you from the property for any violation of our house rules an additional $150 fine will be applied to cover the cost of the dispatch and property walkthrough. This is our cost to safely remove guests from a unit and this cost will be reimbursed and paid for by the guest in violation.
ALL GUESTS hereby acknowledge and agree to follow all house rules, neighborhood/building rules, and city laws and ordinances. By booking and checking into the property you are accepting these house rules.
