Worn down dog-friendly rooms.
The hotel was older and a bit unkept especially in our dog friendly room. We had a second room as part of our reservation that was not dog friendly, and it was in much better shape. Our bathroom walls were dirty, and we had two different mattresses in our room, as was apparent by the level of the beds. One was very comfortable, and one was hard and uncomfortable. The staff at both the front desk and the restaurant were wonderful though. Very thoughtful and helpful.

Really liked that there's a place to eat and a lounge on-site. Convenient. What ever you do, don't get caught by the intersection cameras doing 10mph over speed limit downtown. They really know how to sock it to travelers. $179 mail in fine. Being from AZ, couldn't very well make it to traffic court to plead the case. Rogue River Inn and Suites is a nice place to stay. Will be back next year... only a little slower 😁

The reviews were good and I have a large dog that I wanted to be able to directly access outside with.. it was extremely noisy, I had people knocking on the door, lights were flickering, and I heard low battery on smoke detectors chirping all night.

Super quiet and comfortable. I wasn't sure if needed to extend my reservation, and all the staff were very helpful. (I was visiting a relative in the hospital, so plans had to be flexible depending on what happened with him.) The only problem was that there was a power outage during the second night (not hotel's fault) that was inconvenient. I did not care for the free breakfast as I prefer lighter, healthier choices.
