We liked our clean, pleasant room, but having construction work right outside our window which didn’t stop till 10:00pm the night of our stay, then starting at 6:00am the following morning wasn’t ideal. Would have been nice to not be so close to construction side or at least been warned

Firstly, The Howey is an excellent location. Tucked away, but in the middle of the city, so it’s very convenient. The room was clean, well equipped and cosy. The staff are particularly lovely and helpful. They feel like they know the place and their job. Friendly, hard working and pleasant.

Pros, Convenient hotel with modern decor/bathroom, good hair dryer & great access to shopping & food. A couple of cons are if you have a lot of luggage be prepared to walk from Elizabeth St. parking. Also no complimentary water as it’s included with the mini bar offerings.
