Heart of Mendocino Village, Fabulous Views!

This warm and welcoming home away from home, the Mendocino Village Suite, has an eye to detail and welcomes you to the heart of Mendocino Village. Featuring knock out white water views and lovingly tended gardens, you will walk up a brick path to your private accommodations and a dutch door entry. Just inside is a fully equipped kitchen with a 4 burner gas stove and all you could imagine for preparing a meal if you wish, including a full size fridge. Village Suite also offer a stacked washer and dryer for your use, which is a rare feature in most rentals in Mendocino. Facing south, is a large picture window with a unobstructed, breathtaking view overlooking the Headlands State Park and the Mendocino Bay. There is a smart TV, DVD player and stereo, a love seat, coffee table, desk, and a large Lazyboy chair with massage features and a gas fireplace so you will be cozy and comfortable. There are also books and DVD's for you to enjoy! A dining table perfectly framed in the south facing window, a pillow top queen bed, and near the bed, a bathroom featuring a tub/shower combo and a garden window. Linens and towels are all upgraded100% cotton, as we provide you what we would want to have ourselves! Your comfort is our goal..A Weber gas BBQ and a charcoal BBQ are in the side yard. In the front of Village Suite are two Adirondack chairs looking out south to the bay where you can enjoy a glass of wine and look at the views. Village Suite is walking distance to restaurants, shops and everything. and yet is not situated in a commercial district of the village, so you will have peace and quiet. Once people stay with us they never stay anywhere else.....We have an automatic generator, so power outages are not a problem!!!!!

Never Want To Leave
This last trip—I come every year for my birthday—was my longest stay ever. I thought I’d be satisfied, but as usual, 17 days flashed by. I feel so at home & welcome here, especially because Cheri & Peter are so helpful and kind. Very comfortable & blessedly quiet, a kitchen I can cook in, a TV that gets the NHL, an old-fashioned heated recliner there when you need it, perfect location so you only really need your car for trips to Ft. Bragg & the Mendocino Botanical Gardens. And finally, the magic sound of the buouy & the ocean in the dark of night, better than any sleeping aid. What more can I say?

Perfect weekend getaway!

Fabulous Get Away!
Thank you Cheri for a wonderful vacation! We escaped the heat of Sacramento & savored our time in Mendocino for the week. The studio has a great location (blocks from town, the point, & the headlands), the view was amazing, and the vacation home was equipped with everything one would need while staying here. We stayed here a few years back & hope to come back in the future.

Mendocino Gem!
My husband and I hadn't been to Mendocino in more than a decade. It's always been a favorite of ours and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was immaculately clean and very well equipped! The views from the living room window were spectacular. I loved the decor and the cozy feel. This is exactly what we look for in a vacation rental and we will absolutely be back. On the way out of town we were already talking about our next visit to Mendocino.

Cottage with a view
This is my second stay here and I will always stay here because of the cottage's home like feel: so comfortable, kitchen with good "tools" & spices AND because of the big window from which to watch the waves meet the rocky shore across the way. Love watching from here the sky and ocean. AND it's a short walk out to the Headlands trails along the coast and to the village. Cheri and Peter are both responsive and privacy supportive. This VRBO is a lovely, comfortable cottage with great views of the Mendocino ocean coast.
