Authentic Boutique Hotel in Mérida Centro
The hotel is authentic, conveniently located near the Centro and very pleasant. The AC in the room worked great, the WiFi was fast and the free breakfasts were delicious. The service was also very good. If you have a car, free parking is conveniently located across the street in a secured lot. Hotel staff has to unlock the gate each time for entry and exit but the process was efficient and quick. The price point was good for this property. I would stay again.

My stay at Hotel Real Toledo was a very positive experience. My room was clean and nice. The staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was perfect; fruit, pastry, and several choices of house-made eggs. The location was perfect, very close to everything. I felt safe and was able to utilize the Colibri tour office right next door. I definitely recommend Hotel Real Toledo to all.

This is a very beautiful hotel. The staff is wonderful and friendly. There were plenty of breakfast options (especially if you like eggs, as I do). The location is perfect for easy access to restaurants, shops, city center AND the place next door is a tour agency that has better and less expensive tours than what is offered online. The ONLY con was that the water pressure leaves much to be desired but overall, I would absolutely stay here again and also recommend this hotel to other people.

We stayed here for a week and were very satisfied with the services. The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous, special shoutout to Israel!. The breakfast was ample and good. The hotel has a quaint and rustic feel to it. This is a 3 star hotel, so pls do not expect anytime more. Its biggest plus is its proximity to the center of the city. This hotel is a great place to rest and sleep after wandering around Merida and the rest of the countryside. If you want more or expect more from this hotel, then go stay at an overpriced 5 star hotel or resort!

La Ciudad Blanca
El hotel es una casona antigua adaptada a casa de huéspedes. Es encantadora. Las habitaciones del primer piso conservan su toque original pero con las comodidades de un hotel moderno. El desayuno muy completo y muy sabroso, el personal de la cocina siempre atento. Las camas y almohadas son cómodas. La TV, cable, clima y wifi funcionaban perfecto. Hay una heladería enseguida que es un plus. Y en la Plaza Internacional, a unos cuantos metros está una comida oaxaqueña muy rica, y al lado de ese establecimiento un café (Las Cazuelitas) con comida del día muy económica. El personal del hotel te apoya con un servicio de taxi muy recomendable, muy puntuales, te recogen en las estaciones y te llevan a paseos. Para personas de tercera edad soliciten el primer piso porque no hay elevador. Por supuesto que volvería ;)

The hotel is in a beautiful traditional old house. The staff were super kind. But it needs maintenance; we booked two rooms for a night, and one of them had an old bathroom that didn´t look so clean. The other room let rain come in and wet the floor.

Bed sheets were dirty with stains, asked for new ones and no one was available to change them. Had to change them myself, noticed the entire bed was full of hairs and more stains! Restroom wouldn’t flush, and mosquitos all around in the bedroom.

The room was disgusting. It smelled very TERRIBLE (like sewage). Staff was a dissaster; they didn't give me options (maybe to stay in another hotel from same chain, Kavia). We were forced to leave the hotel at almost 11 pm and needed to pay for 2 rooms in a Marriott. PLEASE DON'T GO TO THAT HOTEL!

If you like cheap old hotels this is the place for you. We reserved two rooms, the ac didn't work in one of them and they didn't switch us room until the next day. That same night they rented the same room to a different family and of course they complained too and the hotel employees didn't do anything about it. Also if you love mosquitoes this is also a great place for you, since mosquitoes get in to the rooms all night somehow. Also super loud since the rooms have no insulation. Employees slamming doors and things right outside your room at all hours of the morning seems to be a daily thing. Super awesome if you have a baby trying to sleep. Oh and if you like flies all over your beast, you're in luck! They keep everything out in the open with flies all over it. Must be a culinary thing down here. Honestly this hotel is awful if you're used to good hotels. If you're cheap and like it cheap and crappy this is it - look no further.
