Property owner was unwilling to work with me after unforeseen weather closed atv trails in late October, tried to get 50% back wouldn’t do it. Communication was also very poor.

Very nice cabin for two adults and maybe one child. In great condition. I would suggest taking down the animal rug hanging up on the wall. Does not look very clean at all.

2023 UTV Trip
Quick trip North for side by side trail ride. Great location to local restaurants and access to the trail. Four people total with plenty of room to spare. Would stay here again. Very accommodating for early check in and we were able to check out and leave our trucks/trailers at property while we rode trails the final day.

One queen bed in the loft. Two single beds in room off the living room. Many amenities are provided, such as towels and soap. Unique animal pelts. Small but nice living space. We are usually only there to sleep and riding trails the rest of the time.

Was just right for coming back to relax, cook , and sleep after spending the day at the beach or golfing. We didnt realize you have to furnish your own toilet paper though and only had a roll and a half when we arrived. Othherwise it was nice cabin.

Finding the location was easy. Very quiet area near the lake. Loved watching the wildlife out the side window while eating meals. A number of cheese and winery shops were easy to drive to. A number of maintenance items were identified after check in that needs to be addressed. Would recommend adding more lamps and bring back to table versus an island which was hard to eat at. Safety issue with the stairs as rails are loose and needs a vertical rail to help people with knee issues.

Quaint, slightly dirty property in ATV area
The first plank in the deck fell off when we stepped on it (we moved it out of the way for our stay). The provided window fan shorted out a circuit breaker (we flipped the circuit breaker back and ignored the fan). The decor was odd for BRF but as advertised. The carpeted stairs up to the top loft were filthy (our feet were covered with sand by the time we reached the top). The top bedroom was less than clean (false eyelash found in the bed, cheetos underneath). The ATVs went until 1am. Someone started using a portable saw around 8. All in all, it was a decent place, but they definitely did *not* earn their higher-than-average cleaning fee.

A few girls and I stayed here over the weekend for our friend’s wedding. Place was easy to access and communication was clear. It was not cleaned at all as far as I could tell though, which was disappointing. Even just wiping the surfaces or sink would have been nice.

I found the cabin quite cozy. The accommodations was very comfortable. Could use a couple more dining room chairs instead of the low bench.The price was very reasonable. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We plan to stay there again in the future

Our only disappointment was that we didn't have access to wi-fi at the pavilion, as was suggested. It appears the place is under new ownership, so maybe things have changed. This property otherwise was just as we thought it would be and we enjoyed our stay.

Showed up on time, but cabin had not been cleaned yet. Beds were unmade. Sauna was not available. Hot Tub was not available. Video system was not working. Had to go to Walmart to buy sheets, toilet paper and paper towels. Will look elsewhere in the future.

Perfect for ATV's
We had a great trip north with the whole intention of riding the trails. The weather had other intentions so we spent a little more time in the cabin that we expected. Everything is as represented in the online listing. Couches were comfy for watching movies and extra chairs made it possible to play board games. The kitchen has a great selection of the basics (4 person plate service so you do have to wash dishes after each meal) and we were able to prepare several meals there. We did not use the firepit or grill. A couple things to note: some of the neighborhood is happy to have visitors, some are not. One older fella couldn't wait to help us out with directions to the trails, the best rides and places to stop. Another old bird was certain we were going to block the whole neighborhood with the truck and trailer and let us know about it. We pulled in with a 20+ foot trailer and were able to park it across the whole front of the drive. Fortunately, the manager said "no problem" to park in the yard. The only thing that slowed us down is that the height of the ceilings in the bathroom and kitchen are just a smidge over 6 feet. This is not a problem for many, but when you travel with a couple of 6'4" and 6'8" fellas, it just means they don't have to go in the kitchen and the shorter folks end up doing all the kitchen work. It met our needs and the property manager was very accommodating.

They recently had plumbing issues so we had very cold showers on Saturday but the caretaker did get a plumber out and all was well come Sunday. I was taken aback by the extra fees that were not listed until I booked the property including cleaning fees, etc.

Basecamp for fall ATV trip
We were very pleased with and appreciate the opportunity to utilize this property for our recent outing. We were looking for a simple home base for a small group of folks and this was exactly what we needed. It's compact and small, but has the essential amenities. Heating worked well and filled the whole space. Included utensils and supplies (paper towels, garbage bags, rags/towels, bedding, etc) was also very appreciated. Strong cellular signal (Verizon, T-Mobile) was a great bonus. We did not use the external sauna, or any of the yard (fire pit, etc). The 2am train that goes by laying on the horn wasn't great but I was only light sleeper in the group and noticed. So could be worse. Thanks again, and we'll definitely keep in mind on our next annual visit in the area!
