Great house, great location, lovely host
Thank you for a great stay in Meslan, lovely little town with all the essentials and additional benefits of a park and fields. Hosts provided great communication and welcome. Only suggestions would be a welcome guide/book with the essentials and we did have a few splinters from the decking but a lovely garden area

Some good and some bad
We found our stay to be mixed. First the good things - the house is spacious with plenty of room for a large family, the swimming pool is of a high quality and also of a good size, the people of Meslan (notably the baker, the pharmacist and the bar-keeper) were absolutely lovely and among the friendliest people that we have ever met in France. The less good things - Splinters, the deck around the pool is not well maintained and I pulled perhaps 20 splinters from our 3 kids feet over the 3 weeks of our stay. Electricity - On arrival we were asked to sign a "contract" which said that we agreed (among other things) never to run any of 6 named electrical appliances at the same time. So you cannot, for example, use the toaster and the washing machine simultaneously. Similarly, the oven can't be used at >200 degrees (they have pulled the temp knob off to prevent this). We kept to their rules, but had one power cut of a couple of hours in the kitchen area. The owner was pleasant and helpful in resolving this. The explanation is that the pool is large and constant electricity draw and you need a commercial rather than domestic level of power supply to maintain electricity to the house at normal levels. Additionally, I would say in some other respects the house needs more maintenance. Masonry is a bit crumbly, only one "sticky" key is supplied, and so on. We enjoyed our stay, but its fair to say that the house has good and bad aspects.

Vacances à Meslan
Nous avons passé une belle semaine en famille à 6. Valérie et Christian qui nous ont accueilli ont été bien sympathiques et disponibles. Nous avons apprécié les petites attention des propriétaires (cidre, huile entre autres ). La maison est spacieuse et les lits 160 ont été appréciés. Peut-être changer les oreillers qui se ramollissent. Un petit rafraîchissement de la maison serait top! -Il me semble que certaines prises électriques doivent être changées -l'aspirateur fonctionne mais fait beaucoup de bruit et le balai seau serpillière est cassé -les pastilles de lave vaisselle ont tendance à ne pas se dissoudre correctement, nous conseillons un gel pour le lave vaisselle -les tiroirs du meuble des couverts est aussi fatigué -il y a un léger décalage entre l'image et le son de la TV. Nous avons adoré la piscine chauffée (indispensable dans cette région). Nous avons eu la chance d'en profiter. La voiture est indispensable dans cette petite ville de Meslan très calme. Nous avons apprécié le restaurant au Faouët, " le thon qui rit" et nous le recommandons. Quelques idées en famille: nous avons apprécié la visite du port d'Auray, la plage du bas pouldu et la ferme pédagogique de Dame Nature à 3 km de la maison.

Quelques remarques
Nos vacances se sont bien passées, toutefois la maison, au demeurant très agréable à vivre, nécessiterait une grosse rénovation de son installation électrique (le circuit a disjoncté à 3 reprises, puis problème d'eau chaude) Un nettoyage en profondeur ne serait pas un luxe !!! Il conviendrait de remettre le numéro de rue sur le mur d'accès. L'annonce est imprécise au niveau de la taille des lits 160 ? 180 ? 200 ? Toutes ces remarques sont faites dans le seul but d'améliorer les choses.

il serait bon de revoir les plages en bois autour de la piscine ,ainsi que les marches d'accès à la terrasse (dangereux) ,et il est urgent de réparer le carreau de la porte d'entrée ,avant qu'elle ne se brise et ne blesse quelqu'un en tombant ! une prise ne fonctionne pas dans la ch qui jouxte la sdb ! changer les chaises avec tube en fer de la salle à manger ,avant que quelqu'un ne se retrouve par terre ! sinon très bon séjour ! ces remarques ne sont pas désobligeantes ,mais constructives ! propriétaire répond rapidement aux sollicitations !grande piscine chauffée à 26°c très agréable

Maison très agréable
Cette maison est très agréable et très spacieuse. Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour. Très bon accueil de la part de Sabrina, le monsieur de la piscine est très gentil également. La piscine était très appréciée. Le lave linge et le sèche linge sont vraiment un plus, vraiment très pratique ! Je recommande cette maison avec grand plaisir. Le seul point négatif (si on peut dire), est le manque de mitigeur dans les baignoires. Cela rend l'utilisation dangereuse pour les enfants et il est vrai que ce serait un bon investissement pour la commodité et les économies d'eau. Merci encore pour l'accueil, nous garderons un bon souvenir de notre séjour en Bretagne. Caroline.

Tolles Haus mit tollem Garten und Pool
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in Brigittes geräumigem und charmanten Haus. Ganz besonders ist außerdem der große gepflegte Garten mit zahlreichen Sitzmöglichkeiten und der große Pool, den wir ausgiebig genutzt haben. Die Kommunikation lief problemlos, Brigitte war jederzeit ansprechbar und alle Fragen konnten kurzfristig geklärt werden. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Een goed huis bij mooi weer
Het huis staat in het zeer rustige Meslan, met veel steden, bezienswaardigheden en goede restaurants in de omgeving. Het huis voldoet aan de beschrijving, waarbij alle huisraad wel enigszins is verouderd. Het verwarmde zwembad is een pluspunt, maar door het minder mooie weer konden wij het helaas nauwelijks gebruiken. De eigenaren en de buurman waren heel aardig en behulpzaam. Als je niet veel om luxe geeft, is dit een goed huis.

Superbes vacances
Une très belle maison de charme à la campagne avec plein d'activites aux alentours pour passer un agréable séjour. Nous avons été chez dame nature petit parc animalier à 10mn de la maison nous avons également fait une randonnée aux roches du diable également à 10mn en voiture et la mer à 30mn de la maison. La piscine chauffée et le jardin sont indéniablement un vrai plus dans cette maison. Notre fille de 6ans a tout simplement passé son temps dans la piscine. La maison est très spacieuse et très bien équipée nous n'avons manqué de rien elle possède même une buanderie avec lave linge sèche linge et table à repasser. Tout y est pensé pour que l'on se sente comme chez nous. Un cadeau d'accueil avec des produits typiques à déguster nous attendais à notre arrivée...une très gentille attention de la part des propriétaires. Un grand merci à Mr et Mme Billard pour leur gentillesse et toutes leurs petites attentions qui ont rendu notre séjour encore meilleur. Nous avons sincèrement passés de très belles vacances en famille . Un grand merci également à Christian qui a été d'une grande gentillesse et bienveillance avec nous. Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour à Meslan, la région et la propriété.
Nous avons beaucoup aimé nos vacances en Bretagne, à Meslan. La villa se trouve à la campagne mais pas très loin de la côte; Nous avons visité Pont-Aven , Concarneau, Etel, l'île de Groix ..........La villa est grande et bien décorée avec tout le nécessaire ( lave- vaisselle, lave- linge, grande télévision..... Ma petite fille a beaucoup apprécié le lit à baldaquins, et moi , le chauffage d'appoint dans la salle de bain..... Sans oublier la piscine chauffée et la terrasse. De plus, nous avons eu du beau temps!!!!! Nous gardons un très beau souvenir de nos vacances en août 2017.
