The hotel es beautiful, but just because of the architecture. The service is good but there a lot of missing details to better serve the customers. This is not a 4 star hotel, but a low 3. Very noisy if you happen to pay for a suite with a view be aware of the noise at night, is difficult to fall asleep in such conditions. Be aware of the restaurant, is ok but not excellent, and please this is Mexico, a great place to eat delicious food, how come they don’t have a good chef in the house 🙄… In other words you will have to go out to have a great dinner and is not the safest of the places at night.

Historical hotel - architecturally beautiful, but hotel is basic in terms of room offering and services. We had a Zocolo suite. Noise every night and morning was oppressive from square. Hard to sleep. Restaurant and bar offering very basic - but in reality everything around is worse. If you want proper hotel facilities stay in one of modern chains out of the historical centre. It was an experience but definitely would not return

The architecture of this hotel is amazing, it is a must see even if you do not stay there. The staff was super helpful, from the bellboy at the door, to the check in staff, to the maids, to the waiters at the restaurant. Everyone was friendly but yet respectful, we felt just like being at home.
