Love the place. The elevator was out of service which did make it difficult for us older folks to carry heavy luggage up to the 2nd floor. But overall a good stay.

Front desk people were friendly and helpful. The elevator didn’t work so we had to drag bags up stairs. That wouldn’t have been so bad but the air in our room barely worked. Air not working during the summer in Miami Beach isn’t very pleasant. I would not stay here again.

Loved that we were staying in a Old Building with history. Yes it's a bit dated, but it's right on South Beach, Affordable, and surrounded by amazing sights and places to eat. I would absolutely book here again.

Wonderful Stay
Before booking the room I read several bad reviews but because it was a last minute booking I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. We stayed two nights and enjoyed our stay. Our room was extremely clean, the receptionist was friendly and had extremely hot water. The location was absolutely perfect. We needed a light bulb replaced and maintenance came immediately. The only negative was that the elevator didn’t work but not a big deal. The hotel is an older historic antique hotel which gives it character. Don’t believe everything you read bc we would have missed out on an affordable unique stay.
