We LOVE this hotel!!!!!!!
This was our second stay at the Gale; and just as I said after our first stay: we will be back! This time we stayed in one of the rooms with a balcony with a partial water view. WOW!!! It was nice during the day, but the night view was spectacular. I spent a lot of time on the balcony listening to the sounds of the city and looking at the city lights. The room was spotless, and equal parts cozy and chic! I really appreciated the table, mini fridge, and all the extra details that made our stay top notch (the robes and slippers were the chef’s kiss). The bed was so delightfully comfortable; the bedding and pillows were perfectly plush (I wanted to sleep in every single morning). I can’t wait for another visit!

Front desk was pretty slow, check-in line took quite a while. Hopefully it is because they are new and working out issues. There was always a line at the front desk throughout our stay, so not just an issue for us. Housekeeping didn't come on our second day. Room was very comfortable, and had everything we needed.

The room was STUNNING!!! Hotel wasn’t ready until about 4:30pm. Elevators are very busy so it can take a while. Front desk staff was not very friendly. Valet & Bellman were absolutely excellent and so kind! The room was so clean and nice. The area around was a little questionable at night but otherwise fine!

Absolutely loved my stay at Gale Miami. They charge a fee for one night 24 hours before you check in, just a heads up- it does go towards your overall payment though. I really enjoyed how clean the rooms were and the beautiful view. The staff were amazing and extremely responsive.

Beautiful hotel but have some issues!
This is a beautiful hotel! Two major issues I had though. Number 1: We didn’t know about where to park the car so were forced to valet. Keep in mind, this is a sky rise hotel in downtown Miami. There should’ve been ample parking even if it were to be on the backside of the hotel or something. Nope. We had to valet which was $55 per night. Quite a steep price! Issue number 2: Anytime we needed our car, it literally took 30 minutes EACH TIME for a valet guy to bring our car around. I thought the point of valet was to get your car in a timely manner. We got our car from valet 3 different times which adds up to waiting 90 MINUTES. Absolutely insane. For $55 a night, I expect much better service. The valet guys were incredibly nice but it really put a huge damper having to wait forever. Now on to the hotel itself. This is a beautiful building! Very swanky with 52 floors. It is a hotel as well as an apartment building that is shared. I got a city view room. It was supposed to have 2 queen sized beds but ended up with a king sized bed. Not really a big deal. The city view was absolutely spectacular! Our room was on the 49th floor and the elevators were pretty quick. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the check in process took forever! We literally stood in the lobby waiting for over 20 minutes to check in. There were 2 people ahead of us. We were tired as it was and I ended up getting frustrated but once up to the desk, check in took about 3 minutes. Hotel is beautiful though!

This hotel has potential but there are a lot of kinks they need to work out. First of all, there is usually a 8-10 min wait for the elevators. Most of the time the front desk does not answer calls. There is always a line in the lobby. There is always a 20 min minimum wait for anything related to the front desk. The hotel is also not very secure, anyone can walk in and go up to any floor. The luggage storage was full and we were told “sorry. No space for your luggage” so we had to bring our luggage around while we waited to head to the airport 5 hours later. The rooms are nice in size. The air conditioning doesn’t blow into the bedroom from the living area and you have to leave the bedroom door open with the loud aircon on so you’re not swearing while you sleep. Kitchen amenities is nice. Gym is good for a hotel. There are a lot of kinks management needs to work through. Security and service should be prioritized.

Hurricane Woes
This our 2nd stay. We have family nearby. Like a lot of other Floridians, we were trying to escape hurricane Milton. People brought their dogs, which I understand. I think that the hotel got caught off guard. Guests would leave their dogs in the room and then leave for the day. The dog then barked continuously. The dog was frightened, I'm sure. The hotel should have a few floors for guests with dogs and floors for those who don't to keep them separated. The wonderful staff moved us because of a barking dog, but unfortunately, it was on the same side of the hotel and 3 floors up, we could still hear the dog barking. In an instance like that, the hotel needs to tell the guests that they need to take the dogs with them when they leave in respect for other guests or check out of the hotel. I did suggest to call the guest, but that didn't happen. I don't think that there are any rules in place for that. The staff there is great, it was just an unfortunate situation. Bianca is wonderful!

Great room, rest could use some improvement
Check in and out is a slow, unorganized process. There are not nearly enough elevators or luggage carts, and front desk staff is very very slow. The room itself was perfect - everything you need and a great view. Breakfast buffet is wonderful, however the lunch and dinner menus don’t offer many choices. More information about the area in the check in envelope would have been helpful - walking guide for nearby restaurants and shopping, etc. Also no information on room service ( none?), or ice/ vending areas ( none?).

No room service or microwave, wifi was down majority of our stay. TV lost service alot. Beds and sheets were nice and soft. View wasn't the best, but we enjoyed the restaurant. Best fish tacos!! Bartender during Saturday happy hour was amazing!

My husband and I stayed at the Gale Miami Hotel this past weekend and we loved the Gale Miami Hotel. We will definitely be back soon. This new property exudes class and elegance, we experienced a minor hiccup with being woke up by the fire alarm and having to exit the building, however the Gale Miami Hotel staff were quick and efficient in trying to make it up to us by providing breakfast to all guest who were inconvenienced during our stay. If I could point one thing out, it would be the overnight front desk staff not being knowledgeable of the company’s policies. In our room they have place cards. In the event that you need “ICE” it says to call guest services and someone will bring the “ICE” well the first night of our stay I called and asked for the “ICE” an hour and a half goes by and I call again and you can tell that she forgot. Okay so we get the “ICE” it’s brought to us in a plastic bag, no “ICE” bucket nothing. Our second night they bring us “ICE” in a normal bucket. Go figure! It is now time for checkout I come to the front desk and I ask to purchase two robes and the umbrella in addition to checking out, the front desk personnel explains that the cards that tell me that I can purchase the robes are incorrect and that the umbrella cannot be purchased either. I said I understand I can’t purchase the ones from the room but it says in the card that I can purchase new ones she again informed me that the cards in the rooms are incorrect. I just gave up!
