The property itself is good with beachfront access, great views, and spacious suite. Restaurant was not good— indoor seating was the most uncomfortable (hurt my back for a week) and staff talking loudly while we’re trying to eat. Food was way overpriced for what was presented/ offered and quality and taste were disappointing. By far the worst dining experience at any hotel. Was hoping to be able to enjoy food on property as the hotel itself is 15 mins away from most restaurants by car. So tried to order breakfast quick snack items online— hotel would charge for these items as they came in packages. Front desk was not accommodating for the poor dining circumstances. Front desk staff was rude and not hospitable, unprofessional in demeanor in speaking with guests— professional training of staff seems necessary. The cleaning crew on the contrary was kind and amiable. Overall, property offers convenient beach access and sleeping arrangements— however, dining and service need to improve.

Great location and a fantastic view of the bay from our room. Hotel reception area looks great and room was spacious and comfortable but were a bit rough around the edges with closer inspection, but easily good enough. Beach and pool area were great. There were a lot of additional charges that made the stay expensive, and the valet pretty much refused to handover the car key without being given a tip first, i dont know if its because im british but them seemed a little forceful and unnecessary and turned the tip from a "thanks for your help and serivce heres a tip" to " im going to have to tip you just to get my key" apart from that, all good.

The room was dirty, i provided pictures to the front desk, and when they gave me a new room the tub was filthy. Never will I spend my money with them again.

I upgrade my queen size room to king. The room they gave me. #1 The security lock was broken. I called front desk and she notified engineering. They took at least 20 minutes coming upstairs. When they did no apologies or nothing. Then the tub was peeling, the tub knob was rusted and the room was a connecting room with no divider in between the rooms. I requested another room change and the room they moved me to was closer to the elevator.

I had a three-day reservation scheduled at the Grand Beach Hotel. Two weeks prior, I attempted to cancel my reservation due to an emergency surgery I had to have. Because I booked my reservation through a third party (Expedia), my reservation was non-cancellable/refundable. Despite attempts by Expedia on my behalf, and by me to cancel or reschedule the reservation including providing documentation of my surgery, the Reservation Supervisor replied the same day saying, "Since it is non-refundable we cannot move it or change it.". She offered to forward the request to the property manager and their response stated falsely that they offered to reschedule my reservation and I declined. I have all my email exchanges. Oddly enough, my comments under the reviews section of the Grand Beach Hotel with their response no longer appears on-

The service was horrible!!!! I got 2 ocean view rooms here and on the 1st night One rooms toilet didn’t work and the other ones AC didn’t work. I was then moved to a new room after complaining. I actually got the room I wanted and come to find out the balcony door was off track didn’t work and I had no robes or slippers the manager Maria was very rude. Also, they say that you can start ordering breakfast at 7 AM. I called from seven to 7:30 AM and no one took my order for food before my hair appointment.

Our initial room had a loud knocking in the AC unit and in the morning the bathroom was flooded. Took an hour and a second callback to get anyone to pay attention and we were moved rooms. The new room had a decent amount of water damage to floors and baseboards. $100 a night extra for a pool that closed at 6PM. Prices were outrageous for food and drink. $50.00 per night for parking with attendants that were rude and didn't care about our time. One bright note. The bellman was especially helpful and considerate. He went above and beyond to assist.
