BAD HOTEL AND SERVICE
The rooms they gave us were 824. The shower key was damaged. They had to go to maintenance to fix it because it didn't work. The doors were damaged at the base. The photos of the rooms were totally different from reality. The TV and nightstand furniture were dirty. In addition to the above, in room 816 the sheet was torn, which was unacceptable. At the buffet, the manager let people cut in line and treated us badly for looking for a chair on our own.

We asked to clean room everyday which was not done on first day and was also missed second day even with reminder. I am not sure whether property is being managed properly. You will be at risk of coming hotel after your long day with a room which is not cleaned and all supplies not filled again. Didn't expect like this Hilton property.

This is a very nice hotel. But hold onto your wallet if you plan to eat there. Their restaurant and market are both VERY expensive.

Front desk is not customer oriented and friendly at all. Even many people check out before 10am. I have to wait at lobby over 5 hours before I can check in. I told them my family did not get sleep at airport due to flight cancellation but they spoke in a bureaucratic tone simply saying rooms are not ready. They don’t have a sense of customer service. Very disappointing!

The property is old , everything seems to be falling apart. The bathroom was old and not clean. Lights not working, TV in the room was not working. The star rating is misleading. This should be a 2.5 star hotel.

We are guests at the Blue Lagoon since December 26, 2024, with a back-to-back reservation on December 31st. This hotel is not up to its expectations. We checked- in on December 26th (night). On December 27th, We went to the front desk and reported to the agent that the room was filthy, and we did not sleep well because of the dust. We showed the agent photos of the dirty areas of the room, including the wall on one side of the bed that looked like spilled coffee or poop. We also told the agent that the pillow had a lot of dirt stains. After talking to the agent (with face pierces), I told her to please have housekeeping give the room a thorough clean and change the pillowcases. After a long day from the hotel, We returned to the room and inspected everything. We noticed the same dirty pillowcases and all the areas we spoke to the agent about were not cleaned/touched. This wasn't very pleasant; we called the front desk to speak to the manager and was advised the manager was unavailable, so we went back to the front desk and saw the same agent. We raised our concern again, and she was rude and unprofessional and raised her voice. This property is very disappointing for the money we have to pay, for having to deal with rude employees, a filthy room, and no manager available to assist with the matter at hand. We will never recommend this hotel or stay here again.

My overall experience was good. I believe all the convenience shops in the lobby are meant for guests' convenience. Unfortunately, it seems they take advantage of Hilton guests with high prices. A bottle of water was sold to me for $7, which is double the usual price. I want to give a special shoutout to the Cuban gentleman who works tirelessly handling luggage and assisting guests in the lobby when we are checking in. He was incredibly generous, bringing my luggage to my room with a big smile on his face. Later, I found out that his shift was about to end, and he was just minutes away from going home. I wish I could remember his name. The shuttle service was amazing as well. The driver took us to the airport early in the morning and even came back for us when we stepped out of the lobby at 6:01. If he hadn’t returned, we might have missed our flight.

Upon arrival we had to pay 35 dollars to get an earlier room… the Room had a bad smell of humidity & mold.. when we let front desk know they changed our room & the next room was not an upgrade as they claimed it to be & had a toothbrush left behind by the previous occupant. We let the front desk know and they sent someone to clean the room. The next day we asked for our room to be cleaned an more towels we were told It wasn’t able to happen because we had already been serviced the day before.. when the supervisor of Cleaning asked our room number & we provide it they stated oh the room From the complaint… this is very disappointing from such a world reknowned brand…also they allege the pool is heated & it is not
