It's good hotel to stay. But a little bit noisy from airplane up and down. Parking place is not free, 25USD /night. Quite expensive.

I arrived at the check in time, 3 pm and I wasn’t given the room until 3:40 pm .. 40 min waiting time… a 300ml water bottle cost $6, so better take your own water with you. Other than that: very good!!

While this hotel is conveniently located near the airport, it isn’t near much anything else and there isn’t a sidewalk or good area to explore. I will say that it was a nice security feature to have locked front doors and card activated elevators. The gym was also spacious and there were eggs and meats for breakfast. I wish the room was a little cleaner, but it was fine for a few nights.

- [ ] The area is really run down (not nice area of Miami) - [ ] The hotel lobby furniture showed visible wear (like peeling pleather) - [ ] The hotel could not find our reservation at first from Expedia and had to recreate it in their system - [ ] When they recreated the reservation they charged me all over again for my room ($320) although I had already been paid in full months prior through Expedia. I had to argue with the front desk clerk and they were not going to help me, told me to get my refund from Expedia, only when Rosean showed up for work from the previous day would the new front desk clerk listen to my pleas that this was a special situation that they had worked out and helped us with the previous day. They did give me a refund for the new charges, but I was really disgusted that I had to argue with her to get anything done. - [ ] The rooms has visible dust, dirt, mold and stains on walls, carpets, bathroom tile. Fingerprints on glass bathroom door - [ ] The tv had burn marks into the screen that showed a lighter color in spots here and there. - [ ] Housekeeping walked right in Without knocking - [ ] Stained couch and pillows in room - [ ] Bathroom ventilation did not work - [ ] Sinks wouldn’t drain fast - [ ] Second elevator out of order Pluses: - [ ] Close to the airport - [ ] Rosean was amazing (front desk) you should give him a raise or bonus as he was the only positive part of our experience at the hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the property prior to our cruise and also at the end of our cruise before flying home. We arrived at 12:30; prior to 3:00pm check in. We were told that our room wasn’t available for early check in but they would let us know if it did come available early We literally sat in the lobby area for 2 hours and noticed 3 different couples that came in during that time and were given early check ins. No one even attempted to reach out to us whatsoever. Finally, at 2:45 I asked what was going on and they said, “oh, something just opened up”. To top it off, the first nights stay was billed at $252.00 for the night and the following Saturday we were charged $349 for the exact same room. We will NOT be returning here, for sure. We had stayed at a Hyatt Place in Dewey Beach DE several times before and had wonderful experiences. So the problem, is not with HyattPlace.

We booked the grand room with 2 queen beds and a sofa-bed. The description said we could sleep for 5 but when we showed up they, are only counted for 2 and charged extra $ for 3 more persons. Front desk employees are so mean and we feel they took advantage of us. We never have this problem before. Very disappointed. They are ruined our trip. I will never book with this Hyatt hotel again and i will make sure everyone i know about this chain hotel.
