Excellent location service was good staff went above and beyond, only thing stopping from a 5 star was that there were sign's of wear and tear particularly in the lobby area and a lift not functioning properly, but don’t let that stop you it was really a nice hotel woth an excellent private beach free towels

Check-in was terrible. Waited 3.5 hours for a room after being notified before noon our room was ready for check-in. Male at guest service was condescending after expressing dissatisfaction. Room was dirty and blue tape on windows, pool looked like a motel pool very dirty ground and beach was extremely bad, location had very strong waves that threw one out of the water. This was not the case at other locations. We paid 16.25 for two coffees. Front desk personnel looked miserable. We decided not to spend any money at the hotel due to our experience with the male in a beige suit and his lack of customer service. Will never return to this property. If you have children please stay away from the beach

Charming & calm step on our way back to home : Very friendly staff & customer service at the top ! However, In the balance there was just one problem It's to say the protection matress of our king size bed was an awful nightmare for the 1st night it was impossible to stay & have a good sleep . In such an hotel at this level of comfort it needs to put off the protections wich could be compared as the ones in hospital beds ;((

The Palms Hotel and Spa was a great place for me and my family to stay. The location by the beach was superb! Also the pool onsite was so much fun for all of us to enjoy!

The property is beautiful and the staff are hospitable in every area. The only complaint I have is the room was advertised as a partial ocean view, which I paid extra for, but what I got was a view of the hotel rooftops and palm trees from a window in the room (no balcony). If you focus on the leaves of the palm trees you can barely see some blue behind them in the distance, which I assume was ocean and not sky, but it certainly could not be remotely considered as a partial ocean view. When I complained to the service desk, I was told that I got what I ordered: "a partial ocean view". I guess their definition of "view" and mine are quite different. I actually expected to see the ocean! They did not offer any refund on the upgrade but when I asked for it, they said they would ask the manager and get back to me in a few days. I have not heard anything back. So be forewarned, do not pay extra for "a partial ocean view" because it's false advertising and provides no benefit. Also, be prepared for very expensive food. We ordered a simple lunch with two cocktails and it was over $130.00.

This was our 4th time staying at the Palms Hotel. We are locals from South Florida and the Palms has been our go to Miami hotel. We love this hotel for its green and tropical atmosphere. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing tropical hotel, this is the place for you. My husband and I usually also book massages at Aveda, which is located at the hotel basement and looks beautiful. You can also go to their morning Yoga session located in their beautiful green garden. I gave the hotel 4 stars this time because I was not as thrilled with the food. I felt that the restaurant has gone down, food was not has good as before. We had dinner the first night and it was very disappointing. Especially that the restaurant there is quite pricey. We tried breakfast the next day to see if it would be better but it was not and the bill was overpriced. Besides that, everything was great and the staff was extremely nice and helpful.
