A mountain retreat close to historic Saratoga Springs

This home retreat is set on a beautiful, landscaped and private treed lot and has a private back porch with an enjoyable, relaxing hot tub. The master bedroom features a king size bed and with a full-size bed in the guest bedroom. A full deck in the front of the home offers a nice place to sit and enjoy the outdoors with a grill for barbequing and seating to enjoy meals with your friends or loved ones. When the skies are clear, the night sky can be breathtaking with impeccable views of the stars and constellations. Relax with a warm cozy fire in the firepit while gazing at the luminous night skies. We are 20 minutes from Historic Downtown Saratoga yet hidden away at the top of a mountain in Middle Grove, NY. There are several hiking trails and nature preserves nearby. The local restaurants are amazing and will leave you with a memorable experience! Nearby Downtown Saratoga offers several fine dining and casual restaurants, sightseeing, museums, SPAC (Concert Venue) and the Saratoga Casino. There's plenty of nightlife as well as the famous Saratoga Racetrack which runs long this year with the Belmont Stakes and Travers races in town, and the Harness Track which runs from February through December.

Quiet and restful
This is a nice, quiet place for a restful stay in the Saratoga Springs area. Close to everything - and when I say close I mean 15 to 20 minutes - the property is lovely, and peaceful. Our dogs are barkers when it comes to unfamiliar territory but they were very happy at this property just on the outskirts of town. The host is very responsive and on the ball. I give him a lot of credit for being as accessible as he was. We appreciated the quiet and didn't mind the drive.

Enclosed porch with hot tub was awesome. Fire-pit is there for use as well, with wood supplied! A/C and heat both work great. Free wifi! Host was quick to respond with any questions. Will definitely stay here again!

A perfect birthday weekend
We met with my sister to do some hiking, exploring, cooking together and to celebrate her birthday. The location was private and quiet. We saw a nest of robins fledge, and were visited by rabbits and deer in the mornings. We enjoyed an evening sitting around the fire pit. It was less than 30 minutes into Saratoga Springs for shopping and to explore the Saratoga Spa State Park. Also close to many hiking trails. We hiked nine miles at Moreau Lake state park and then jumped in the Hudson. All was perfect.

Great Rental Property
Stayed here for a show at SPAC with my dad. The property was perfect for our needs; 2 bedrooms, clean, good amenities, and it was a quiet and peaceful location. No traffic noise, nice large yard with a fire pit and awesome gas grill. It was nice staying in a quieter area but still close to Saratoga and the concert venue.

Amazing stay
We needed a weekend getaway from the city and this place was perfect. Amazing location if you just want to enjoy the nature and close to Saratoga Springs if you want to have some fun. With the hot tub and fire pit you can enjoy year round. Place was clean and very cute :) Heather & Pat were amazing hosts. They shared their crops with us so we had fresh eggs and veggies for breakfast and if you need help with fire, Heather is a pro! We will definitely come back!

Cozy and clean
I stayed for a couple of days with my dog while in the Saratoga region. The home is cozy, pretty, clean and warm. The hot tub on the porch was a great feature. Freezing Temps and snow prevented me from enjoying the yard/fire ring but would love to return when I'm in the area.
