Pleasant and helpful staff , specially Jimmy. Stayed here for 4 nights . Breakfast was pretty good, it gets crowded at times, Room and bathroom are spacious . Area is just about 150 or less steps to Basilica and Galleria. Some noisy from the tram , but does not bother us at all . Recommended.

Before I booked this hotel, I read all positive reviews, but unfortunately it wasnt the case for me. I found the staff not friendly at all. The room was not clean, and the bathroom very dark and outdated. The only positive wa it was close to the Duomo and the Galleria. Would never stay there again!!!

The area is second to none. Right outside is the Duomo. But the hotel is not great. The rooms get a surface clean at best, the beds are really hard and difficult to sleep on and the halls stank of cigarette smoke. If you're planning on being out all day and just need somewhere central to rest your head at night, then you will probably be fine. But expect the very basic.

This Hotel was right in the heart of Milan perfect for walking and seeing all the sites . Close to restaurants and bars. Hotel itself is small but good for a short stay. Having only one small elevator cause some difficulties.Breakfast was good but eating area very small and food selection minimal . Coffee was good

This place is a great place to stay at. I really enjoyed it here. The front desk women were so helpful and kind. They need a raise 😂The owner was there the next morning as well helping others. Super comfy and great place. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the duomo area.

I would absolutely stay here again due to the location, and the free breakfast. One thing to note is that the mini fridge had the light working but wasn’t cool like a fridge should. The bathroom was clean, but Some molding on the upper area of the bathroom. I rarely stayed in the room but it was convenient location and literally a minute walk to duomo and trams and subways are easily accessible! Staff during breakfast were lovely.

The location of Hotel Rio is the best - so close to the Duomo, The Galleria and Piazza. The hotel is quite modest but the tariff is reasonable.

So convenient to public transport and under a minute’s walk to Piazza del Duomo. The metro station on the corner will connect you with the station where you can get the airport train. The hotel is clean, safe, quiet, with a good breakfast and very helpful staff.

Best Location EVER
The location and friendliness of the staff are the BEST in all of Milan! Room is not big, but comfortable, air conditioning in each room, hot nice shower, elevator is kind of slow, but only needed when with suitcases. Breakfast is amazing, much more than only coffee and croissants.
