Be prepared to enjoy the view of the stunning sunrises over the ocean and enjoy a refreshing drink on the back deck to view the incredible sunsets over the marsh. Enjoy a fully stocked and newly renovated kitchen with granite countertops and all the amenities. Watch porpoises at play from the comfortably furnished Great Room. Enjoy the gas fireplace on cool evenings or star gaze from the hot tub. The upper floor is reserved for the extra large master bedroom with a comfortable king size bed, en suite bath and large sitting room. Magical House, Magical Location!
This is the third winter getaway that my partner and I have traveled from Washington, DC to the Prime Hook/Slaughter Beach area. Everything about the Glennmoor cottage was wonderful! The house and its content exceeded my hopes and dreams in every way! The kitchen contains every tool imaginable (at least to me), and had PLENTY of storage containers for leftovers. There are beautiful views from every window. The living room seating is warm, comfortable, and welcoming. The beach is just out the back door. The neighborhood is quiet during the winter. It was mild during our stay and walking outside was easy and comfortable. I am in love with wetlands and salt marshes so we very much enjoyed walking in the area. We had several great meals in Milford and Milton, chatted with friendly people, read books, relaxed, even used the hot tub in February! I couldn't ask for a more kind and communicative host! I even enjoyed chatting with the neighbors! I can't wait to return. Thank you!

Great Winter Escape
This is an amazing place for a winter escape (Seems great for other seasons, but we went in the winter). Directly on the beach with access for walks, and bird watching across the street at the wetlands. Hot tub is great, and the night sky views are incredible. House is really comfortable, with a large kitchen and dining area. Short trip to Lewes for dinner or brunch.

A brief but lovely visit to the Delaware Bay.
We chose Glenmor Cottage as a quiet and peaceful place to celebrate our 58th anniversary and enjoy a winter visit to the shore. The home is beautifully decorated and cozy. Hope to return when the beach walk is a little warmer.

Relaxed and private on the coast
My wife and I drove down from Hershey for a quick trip to the coast, and this location was perfect for what we were looking for. We prefer the peaceful seclusion up north over the crowds at Rehoboth, and as avid bird watchers, we loved being so close to the nearby nature reserves. The avian wildlife in this area is clearly thriving and the porch / beach is a great place to setup for viewing. The home itself is well-maintained and would be great for a family with kids or multiple couples sharing, though it's particularly well-suited for families. Itā€™s clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully kept. Like any beach house, thereā€™s natural wear and tear, but itā€™s clear the owners take great care of the property and address any issues promptly. The amenities were great, clean and cozy couches, blankets, towels, and pillows. The heater and fireplace worked beautifully, so well in-fact that Iā€™m thinking I need to upgrade mine!Thanks for the wonderful stay, weā€™d love to come back again!

We cannot wait to go back! Glen was the best host and was very fast at responding to questions. The house has everything you could ask for. I could have moved right into that master upstairs and woke up to that view every morning.We look forward to visiting in warmer months and exploring the beach more.

Long weekend with family
We absolutely loved our long weekend. The weather was interesting as there was about 5 inches of snow on the ground when we arrived and we received another inch or two while we were there. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. We ventured out one of the days and had dinner at a local restaurant. Otherwise we stayed put and enjoyed a peaceful weekend. We even went in the hot tub surrounded by snow. Can't wait to come back!! Thank you Glenn.

Tasteful, wonderful escape.
Glen has great taste. The place was superbly decorated and every detail was in place. I challenge anyone staying here to feel lacking an appliance, spice, towel, cooking utensilā€¦.anything. The view and walks on the beach were wonderful, and since it was December we barely saw another soul. Wife, pup and I will likely conspire for a return at some point. The house WAS the vacation.

We adored this property! The location is wonderful - so scenic between the marshes and the sea (the Delaware Bay near where it meets the Atlantic). Sunrises and sunsets are incredible. We loved our stay! Unfortunately it rained most of the time but we were able to still have a great time! My son really enjoyed helping out some of the horseshoe crabs! My husband and I really enjoyed sea shell hunting! The house was very clean and beautiful! The only thing I wish there was, was a book with information about the house like WIFI, how to work the tv to access channels that are available to watch, and information about what was available to use in the garage. My cell phone company was garbage out there so I couldnā€™t get any information sent online about the house pulled up. Thankfully I was able to stand in the perfect spot to send a message to the owner who was very responsive and helpful!

Home away from home
This is our second time staying at Glenn's and it's now our home away from home. The first time we went was in November and the second in July. Both times were just so relaxing and the perfect getaway. We don't like the crowds and commotion of the larger beaches. This location is perfect, close to Milford but just far enough away that you feel secluded. No matter the weather there is always something to do. We will absolutely be back in the fall and next summer.
