Cozy Ocean Front Retreat with Private Beach!

Updated 3 bedroom - 1.5 bath beach front house in desirable Milford, CT. Master Bedroom overlooks Long Island Sound with picturesque wall to wall windows and vaulted ceiling. Waking up in the morning is serene! Comfortable spare bedrooms - one with two twin beds and a second with a double bed and smart TV. About a quarter mile away from the new 'Tyde at Walnut Beach' wedding and event venue, our home is conveniently located down a quiet lane off a dead-end; offering incredible privacy yet only a short walk or bike ride to shops and restaurants.
Open up the back sliders and step on to our newly constructed beach patio with BBQ. During high tide this patio actually sits over the water! Low tide offers sandy beaches perfect for clamming or hunting for oysters.
Off street parking (can accommodate two cars). Rental comes with kayaks which you can use to explore the coast, or for a bigger challenge paddle out to Charles Island a little over a mile off shore. Explore Milford shopping and nightlife, relax on the beach, or cozy up on the couch with a good movie and bowl of popcorn - make our home part of your annual family vacation and enjoy all it has to offer!

Excellent Beach Front Home
This home and its owners were wonderful!!! My family wanted a comfortable beach house for an end of the summer stay. The house was immaculately clean, well stocked and comfortable. I highly recommend this home for family and friends. The location was perfect, including great nearby restaurants. Our family had a great time on the beach and with the homeā€™s kayaks and paddle board. The sun rises and sets were picturesque- an added bonus to this rental.

Memorable experience
We were there with my 88 year-old mom who was in cancer recovery. We only got to spend the weekend, but it was extremely memorable. My mom passed away recently, and this was our goodbye. I have to say, I canā€™t think of a better way to have spent the time, just staring at the water and being able to escape to go kayak for a few minutes even and just relaxing on the deck with the family made this experience really incredible. Houses are easy to work with and attentive.

Relaxing stay
My husband and I spent a relaxing weekend at Mattā€™s house on the beach. The location canā€™t be beat! Itā€™s tucked away and right on the water! Itā€™s so soothing listening to the waves lap onto the shore, even up and under the deck during high tide! The view from the master bedroom is breathtaking and the bed is super comfy. We loved falling asleep to the sounds of the waves each night. We had a killer pizza from Jimmyā€™s Apizza in Milford!! Highly recommend! This was a perfect late summer getaway for a few relaxing days on the water. We would love to come back again sometime!

The Perfect Beach House
This property could not have been more perfect for our family!!! The house was clean, right on the beach and had everything you need. The owner made sure we knew he was only a phone call away and answered any questions we had. Since the house is right on the beach our son (9 yrs old) could go out on the deck or right onto the beach below without us having to pack up everything and walk a block to get to it. Lots of stores near by, PEZ factory close by, a zoo too within a half hour and a creamery right down the road with really good ice cream. The location was great and even the neighbors were too, they introduced themselves to us and offered to share their beach things with us but there was no need, the owner allows you to use the kayaks and wakeboards that are right in the garage with life vests too. One last thingā€¦the sunrise from the master bedroom and deck you will not want to miss, it is amazing!!! We hope to stay there again next year, canā€™t wait to go back and so thankful we picked this property this year!

We thoroughly enjoyed this best kept secret gem!! It is an amazing little house right on the water with paddle board, kayaks and amazing views! You won't be disappointed with this booking!! We loved it with our whole family of 5 and welcomed our new grandson that was born while we were there at Bridgeport Hospital. Our daughter lives right down Milford Point Road! There's everything you need within walking distance from a liquor store, coffee shop, ice cream shop, lobster rolls, local pub/restaurant and mini mart!! We loved every minute and will be back! Had a fabulous weekend at this beach cottage. Great location, extremely close to the water, coffee shop, ice cream shop, lobster rolls, boardwalk along the water and of course the beach! Milford is a hidden gem for summer vacation and I will definitely go back and stay in this beach home!!
