Pets are allowed for a fee of $30 per stay. Guests are responsible for always keeping their pets under control and to clean up after them. When you bring your pet along, I kindly ask that you adhere to a few simple rules during your visit. This way, I can continue to operate as a pet-friendly retreat in the future.
• Please always keep your pets off the furniture so that other visitors coming after you won’t have to contend with potential pet odors. If, however, your pet insists on hopping up, please make sure you cover all bedding and furniture with blankets and sheets brought from home.
• Pets must be always under the care and control of their owners. There are many local dogs who are friendly.
• Pets must not be left alone inside the cottage for extended periods.
• We ask that you clean up after your pets.
• All pets enjoying their stay with us must be up to date with all necessary shots, flea, and tick treatments. Ticks are bad on the South Shore, please check them over carefully after outdoor excursions. We do our best to mitigate ticks in our yard but cannot guarantee anything.
The cleaners will dispose of garbage for you. We simply ask you sort it accordingly.
Since the property is on a septic system, please do not flush any plastics, wet wipes, or chemicals as these will clog up the septic system.
Do not use the washcloths to remove makeup or mascara. Use disposable pads for this and please dispose of these in the garbage.
