About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Toccoa River. fish off the property. close to BR. Theater, hot tub & fire pit.

Come relax at this beautiful cabin on the Toccoa River located at a PRIME TROPHY FISHING spot and only 15 minutes away from down town Blue Ridge. The cabin is located on a quiet street with very little traffic. The home is located on one side of the road and you have access to our half acre across the street giving you river access with a wonderful fire pit to enjoy the river. If you want to stay at the cabin, enjoy the hot tub on the deck or the home theater room for a family movie night!

This cabin is a great place to disconnect and recharge. There are two doors to enter...one on the lower deck to enter into the game/theater room and the top deck where you enter near the kitchen and the living room. All Tv's allow you to log into your streaming service to watch your favorite shows (Youtube TV, Netflix, Hulu, etc..).

As you pull up to the cabin, you will have a driveway to your left (tough angle but we usually just go past and U-turn) or a gravel parking pad that will fit 4 or more cars. You will notice the great views of the river the moment you pull up.

As you walk in from the to rear deck you will walk in and see the full kitchen and the living room with seating for everyone in your party.
By the couch, you will notice stairs to the loft area that can sleep 4 people (full bed, single and trundle). This is a great spot for kids and adults.

Once you are done exploring the top floor, you can walk down the stairs and enter the game/theater room. You will have access to foosball and checkers in this relaxing game room great for kids to play. There is access to the lower deck from this room as well. Just past the game room is the theater room offering FIVE leather recliners and a new large smart TV with surround sound to watch your favorite movie or game! On this floor there is a full bedroom and bathroom as well.

After you have the layout of the house, the outdoor space is great! The half acre lot across the street is amazing for kids and dogs to play along the river. There is a firepit that is extremely relaxing in the evening. We do try to control the bugs but would highly recommend using bug spray. On the river, it is very difficult to defend against 100% of the insects/mosquitos.

Perfect spot on the river!
This was such a great rental! Access to the best spot on the river. Shallow enough for the kids to walk across and super fun fishing. Convenient to town while feeling secluded and quiet. Would rent again!

Relaxing base to explore the area
The listing and pictures for the property are accurate. Communication with host was great. Plenty of beds and seating for our family of 6. There's a great fire pit and seating area close to the river. The host supplied some firewood and fishing poles. We enjoyed the downstairs theater and the outdoor hot tub, the view of the river and the wildlife! We saw a deer in the lower yard a few minutes after our check-in. We rode the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway - it passes right by the property on the opposite side of the river. We waved at the train from the balcony and the yard. The kitchen was well furnished, I liked the 'fishing cabin' themed decorations in the house. Wifi worked well for our family. There are a lot of stairs so you can get your steps in! If someone in your group has problems with stairs or heights, they might not enjoy the stay as much. Beautiful scenery driving in, maps does take you right there, but the road in is narrow, windy and has a few scary drops for those with fears of heights. If your family has vertigo/height issues or fear of mountain roads because you come from a flat area, you might want to approach through Ellijay and Blue Ridge, rather than come up past Blood Mountain. T-Mobile doesn't cover the area well, so if they are your carrier, you can be 'off the grid' if you want to be, or use wifi calling. Local attractions: Sasquatch Museum, Amicalola Falls, Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, Zipline Canopy Tours of Blue Ridge, Blue Ridge Reservoir and Dam.

fall weekend
Beautiful setting on the river on a lovely fall weekend. Very quiet street. Kids loved the basement theater set-up with comfy chairs and the upstairs loft area for sleeping. Dogs loved the outside area on the river. Beds were comfortable and everything was nice and clean. Updated new appliances (e.g. stove, dishwasher). ~ 15-20 minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge with most of the restaurants.

Unforgettable Mountain Cabin Retreat for Family and Dogs!
Our getaway to the cabin was serene and relaxing. The spacious yard was a great place for our dogs and kid to run around, while the serene river provided peaceful moments and playful water fun. The adjacent walking trail by the hot tub was one of my favorite things, it allowed us a place to walk the dogs without going down the stairs. The deck off the back is fully enclosed which offered a great space for the dogs to be outside off leash. This mountain cabin was the perfect balance of relaxation and natural beauty. Great memories were made. Highly recommended for families and their furry companions!

Amazing cabin on the river
This cabin well exceeded my expectations. Beautiful view of the river from the outside deck. Riverside fire pit was epic and the fishing was great. If you’re looking for an away from the crowd place to stay with all the amenities of a luxury cabin, I’d highly recommend this booking. Owner was very friendly and responsive to inquiries.

River Getaway
We had a great time staying at this property on the Toccoa River outside Blue Ridge. The home is very comfortable, well equipped, and convenient to both Blue Ridge, GA and Copperhill, TN. Frank reached out with lots of helpful information before our arrival, including all the access info for the electronic locks. Consequently, our arrival went super smoothly. Switches and remotes are clearly labeled throughout the home, making it easy to settle in quickly. The large yard and fire pit next to the river provide a wonderful place to relax, throw a ball, or fish for trout. We loved our stay and plan to return. My only caution would be to anyone who has difficulty with stairs, since the house is three levels and built into a hillside - that should be apparent from the pictures, tho.
