Luxurious one level river cottage for rent. Cottage includes two fireplaces, a grand piano, steam shower and gourmet kitchen. Beautiful white sand beach out the front door. Fully furnished so just come and enjoy!

Located fifteen minutes east of St.Paul in Lake St. Croix Beach. People come from all over to enjoy the many recreations of this unique area.

For winter fun skiing, Afton Alps is just minutes away. Scenic snowmobile trails are just out the door or enjoy cross country skiing at Willow River State Park or Afton State Park.

Summertime life at the beach. St. Croix River offers swimming, fishing, sailing, and boating. St. Croix river cruises offer dinner, comedy and casino runs. There are hot air ballooning for the adventurous, and a boat rental nearby. Camping is available on the islands. Boats, pontoons and wave runners can be rented at marinas nearby or enjoy biking and hiking trails.

Historic Stillwater, Hudson, and Afton are all nearby for dining, shopping and antiquing. Cave tours available.

Beautiful Retreat

There is so much to love about this home! My sister and I were visiting my Aunt and decided to rent Diane's home for a few days. She was great to work with. The home is on the Saint Croix River. The sandy beach is just across the road. The views from the kitchen and living area are amazing. My sister spent all the time on the porch watching the boats and enjoying the beauty. The pictures, piano, and furnishings show this home is loved and the owner cares. Hudson and Afton are close by for a meal and shopping.Thank you for letting us enjoy you home!

Second Stay - Great Location

My husband and I enjoyed this lovely cottage. It's a great place to relax with nice amenities and a beautiful view. We enjoyed long walks, sitting at the big kitchen table writing and working on art projects. The location is perfect - easy access from 94, close to the cities, but it felt "up North." We really wish we could spend more time there! Diane is a friendly and very responsive host.

A lovely, inviting weekend!

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed staying here, the space was immediately comfortable and inviting. The fishbowl windows gave the space great lighting, but also amazing views of the St Croix. It was fun to watch the riverboats all twinkly at night as they cruised the river. We made great use of the kitchen and cooked in all weekend. The bed in the master bedroom was like sleeping in a fluffy pillow and felt like a special treat. If your looking for a bit of a cabin-type feel atmosphere, with modern charm and comfort, put this lovely on your list.

Enjoy Gathering Opportunities

The location of this cottage could not be better. Convenient for extended family and old friends to stop by for visits. Plenty of room for entertaining, and kitchen was well equipped. Yes, there are some quirky things, but they absolutely did not interfere with our having lots of fun. We would definitely rent this cottage again. We really liked working with Diane Jorde, the owner.
