The experience at this hotel was terrible - to say the least. First off - there was someone who appeared homeless to be sleeping on the couch as soon as you entered the lobby. The front desk lady asked the person - “are you just going to sleep there ?” In which the person responded “Yupp.” After we got our keys to our room we walked into the room and immediately smelt cigarette smoke. It was terrible - I could not even sit in the room. The rooms also look absolutely nothing like the pictures in the photos. I went down to the front desk to let them know that the room smelt of cigarette smoke. The front desk lady literally handed me a bottle of Frebreeze and I said “I don’t suppose this will work ?” I could not believe it. I then asked to speak to the manager. The front desk lady said she wasn’t here as she was out at dinner… and that it was only her it is first week so she can’t do much about the room. I wrote my number down and asked to have someone call me. No one called. I walked back to the motel from dinner to see if there was an update. As I was walking into the lobby - I looked up at my room and someone was walking into it…. I asked the front desk agent what was going on, and she said oh.. just doing a quality check on the room. I said okay and walked back outside. The worker that went into our room came down with some OF OUR ITEMS and said here you for got some things… they double booked the room. I was so upset and annoyed I walked away. Didn’t stay there - wentelswhr
