House was OK. Needs a update on the interior. Outside yard was filthy. Exterior of cabin was needing a paint job.

Cozy Weekend Getaway
My partner and I came out here for a anniversary getaway before the snow really started and we had a wonderful time! The cabin had all of the essentials we need and the bed was super comfy. It was super close to town and had great views! We did get directed to the wrong neighborhood using apple maps so i would recommend using google maps!

Very cozy
We gave this spot fewer stars because of the sleeping situation. The listing clearly states the caveats of this rental (no internet, tv, etc), which was no issue. We were surprised that the “one bedroom” was not the loft pictured, it was the pull-out couch in the living room. This place sleeps 2 only if someone is on the floor or you can share a bed. The loft is completely off-limits to guests.

Great get away
The pictures make this property look secluded, but that’s not the case it’s tucked away in a neighborhood. Neighbors dog would bark throughout the night and can’t use the yard because there’s spiky plants everywhere. Other than that, great little relaxing weekend. Great food in town and amazing hikes

Cozy Cabin
My wife and I stayed over for a long weekend. We went to Arches and Canyonlands. Although the cabin was on the south side of Moab, the drive to the parks was not bad at all. We loved the coziness of the home and would definitely recommend it for a small getaway!

Cute little dog friendly cabin!
We loved our stay here! Came for Christmas 2021. Sofa sleeper is very comfortable for a pull out. Plenty of pots & pans for cooking. Only one space heater was working and the cabin is poorly insulated so it was quite chilly. Plenty of blankets. It was very windy at night so the metal roof & sun decoration were very squeaky. Overall though, it has everything you need for a fun stay in Moab.

Just what you need.
Stayed 2 nights while visiting Arches NP. Easy commute to Moab eats and Arches. Though small, layout worked well for two. Couch/Bed was comfy for a pull out. Enjoyed being able to sit outside in the evenings. Host had a nice informative information handouts for items in the cabin. Evenings were cool, despite 90+ degree weather. Thanks!

Decent Cabin
The stay was overall good. I brought my dog but couldn't let her roam around, because the yard was poorly kept with thorn bushes and junk. The heater was broken in the cabin, so the nights were cold. It was a cozy cabin overall. We spent most our time out hiking, so this was a nice small place to come back to for the price.

Our stay at Shady Acres was the best! Amazing 360 degree view of the mountains & red rocks
We were traveling 22 hours to Moab. We were meeting family for a Trail Run event. Half way out I received a call. The race was canceled due to Covid-19. I was so very happy I had not made hotel reservations. All the hotels & restaurants were closed. We had 5 wonderful & very memorable days visiting and respecting the land in Moab.

What?
We actually drove by it at first because the pictures that are posted make this look like a gem! It is not. Right next to a port-a-potty company...pitbull dogs and right off of the highway. The yard looked like something you would see on a Walking Dead episode. All brown, garbage and no yard decorations or anything. No way we would have felt safe sitting on the porch. Only place to sleep is a pullout bed, the loft was closed and unusable. The cabin was clean inside and the shower looked like it had been replaced recently. But the property on HomeAway is false advertising, We refused to stay, but were lucky enough to get a full refund from the property owner. I am done with HomeAway - too expensive. The night was cheap, but with all of the fees we would have ended up with a bill that was 3 times that price.

Rustic cabin amenities, without the benefits
This was our first rental with VRBO and was a learning experience which we wanted to share for potential benefit to others. Cost: what shows on the website is not the cost we paid. We did not realize the extra fees and how high they are until too late to cancel. Had we known 3 nights would actually cost double the rate on the website once fees were added, we would not have booked it. When we received the email with the total cost, cancellation would have given us only 50% back because of the date, so we thought we’d try it anyway. Location: being outside of town and by the pictures, we expected a rural setting but it was actually a very busy road and lots of traffic sounds especially in the morning. Trucks. We should have driven street view before we booked and we would have known this. We did not expect that “Dog friendly” meant that the place would smell like dog as soon as we opened the door and there was dog hair on the outside chair cushions. Kitchen area was quite clean except for mouse droppings under the stove where you have to go to turn on the valve to use the stove, but the shower floor needed to be cleaned better along the wall edges that looked like either mildew or dirt and there were mouse traps under the bathroom sink. There are few outlets and we had to unplug appliances to charge our devices. The light in the bathroom was a pull string above the sink and hard to find if you arrive after dark as we did. We have stayed in cabins in the woods and in the countryside and expect some sacrifices for the setting. For us, this had the sacrifices without the benefits we had hoped for in a quiet, country setting. We paid for 3 nights and left after 1. We will be extremely cautious about ever using VRBO again.

Pretty disappointed
Area amazing with sites ect. Place is cleaned and supplied. Sleeping and shower arrangements a little surprised about. No tv or music in cabin. Shower leaks and broken on floor. Best place to sleep is pull out bed that's a thin hard mattress loft not mentioned but has a thin mattress on floor if needed. All grass around cabin unkempt and grown up. Even parking spot had weeds that scratched legs from wearing shorts in summer. Thought cost was in inexpensive but then hidden costs jacked the total up to what a hotel with pool and hottub would have been. Oven broken. Knob fell off in shower when used. Kinda weird that there was a shovel on the front porch. We made jokes that maybe we were going to be filmed in a horror flick. Sad to say but won't be heading back to that place anytime soon. Not a horrible experience but a few minor things could definitely improve the total Iodging experience.

Rustic, cozy and comfy
Had a great stay at Sunny Acres Cabin, and appreciated the way things were set up and the nice touches to make us feel welcome. It was a perfect base for us to explore Arches, Canyonlands and some other great places like the old mining ghost towns at Sego. Watching the sunlight fade on the nearby mountains was magical. The only surprise was that the oven wasn't working (but we wrapped up the frozen pizza we had and it made it to the next place we stayed without a problem~!)

It was what I needed...
When I go to Moab, I spend dawn to dusk out on the trails. All I need is a place to sleep. And a fridge to keep my food cold (and cold water / ice is always a bonus). It was exactly what I needed. It is small. The pull out sofa-bed is not bad. Not wonderful, but not uncomfortable, either. The A/C worked great. Overall, very good.

We loved this little 2-person cabin just south of Moab. It's only a couple minutes' drive to town, but still give us a sense of seclusion. We loved the front porch for sunsets.
