They were trying to charge me again, even though I prepaid by expedia. Room that I booked wasn't available. Pool and jacuzzi are very dirty.

A good stop for exploring Joshua Tree Park. Comfortable and clean. The outdoor areas were in need of some care. The pool and surrounding areas were in need of a clean.

Warm and since greeting from Ariana front desk.
I received a very warm and genuine welcome from Ariana at the front desk. She was absolutely terrific and I was so surprised on how clean my room was and knew everything was clean my carpet. I really enjoyed my stay there. Will stay again.

Excellent stop in the middle of nowhere.
Excellent stop over here, check in was fast and efficient, free parking, room was large, clean and beds comfortable. Location is isolated but perfect. Breakfast was a very welcomed bonus, very clean and food options tasty.

We reserved this room sight unseen, while on the road, about a half hour before we arrived in the town of Mohave. Expedia says no cancellations are allowed. However, when we arrived, we discovered the hotel was directly across from some VERY busy and LOUD train tracks. Furthermore, the motel is on a VERY busy road with huge semi-tractor trucks zooming by all the time. We were exhausted from traveling, and these conditions were totally unacceptable. Had we known the noise level, we would not have reserved a room at this motel. But the proprietor said we couldn’t cancel them. To me, there is a problem with this policy. When the room is below standards, it should be allowed to cancel the reservation. I WILL NOT USE EXPEDIA AGAIN, since this was a very unfair and disappointing experience. I would appreciate hearing back from either the owner of the motel or an expedia representative. I am also hoping to receive a refund for the cost of this room. Best wishes, Mary Corbin

First, the staff were awesome. Having said that the area is sketchy at best. The absolute worst is the property is approximately 120 meters from the railroad tracks and Hwy 58 is next to that. Can you say, "continuous noise"? We will not be staying there again.

The people here are excellent and facility is clean and well kept. Our room was very clean and had a nice fresh smell upon walking in. Bathroom was updated and clean. Breakfast this morning was on point. The dining hall was well organized and the variety was great. We both enjoyed the biscuits with gravy, eggs and sausage. The waffles were on point and the coffee excellent. There is a nice older women who keeps up the hall and she is very helpful, friendly and courteous to everyone coming in. Thank you Best Western Desert Winds for and excellent experience! In many ways better than the upper end Hotel we stayed at in Las Vegas for the past few days.
