Comfort Inn Magnetic Hill is currently updating their property. We stayed in a renovated room on the first floor which was cozy but clean. Very convenient parking right outside our unit and easy access for walking our dog outside. Magnetic Hill attractions a few minutes north and restaurants a few minutes south.

Lots of hot water Everything was very clean Delicious breakfast and again the person in charge in the breakfast area was also friendly and helpful Perfect stop for overnight on our long drive to Cape Briton island. The exterior of the building is looking rough but the interior has been renovated and modernized. The interior is cleaner than many higher end hotels I’ve stayed at. This hotel will charge your card the day before you check in despite opting to pay at the property rather than through Expedia in advance.

It has all the basics and is decent for the price. We had our rooms cleaned and tended to every day and there was always someone to help in the breakfast area. Breakfast was good, standard eggs, waffles etc. Good overall. Staff was helpful and friendly. I was thrown off and iffy the first night we checked in there was no shampoo in the bathroom, completely empty although we just checked in. It’s not fancy where you’re gonna get slippers and a bathrobe waiting for you but a good deal overall.

I’m not one to normally leave a bad review, but it is noisy. Paper thin walls! I could hear everything in the room next door, and they could definitely hear me. Cleaning staff started at 9 cleaning hallways. Nice and clean though.

The room we stayed in smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. My daughter’s asthma acted up while during our stay. The breakfast room we found crowed and to busy so we opted out and went out for breakfast.
