Home is centrally located to Bridgewater Plaza (less than 1 mile). Prime location to restaurants, grocery stores, boat rentals, shopping, and entertainment. You may also just want to relax and enjoy the many amenities “Dockside Daze” has to offer including a large dock perfectly situated to enjoy sunset views, Tiki bar, multiple outdoor grilling stations, flagstone patio firepit and dining area, plus large upper covered porch. Tie-ups available for boat owners/renters plus multiple jet ski floating ramps for your use (jet skis and boats not included but available for rent at many local marinas). House includes kayaks, paddleboat, paddleboard, floats, bocce ball, corn hole, ladder ball, badminton, pickle ball, and more. High speed internet with upgraded cable package and Samsung Smart TVs in all bedrooms. Well-appointed kitchen including Keurig pod/coffee pot combination with additional full-size fridge in Tiki bar. We had a wonderful stay at Dockside Daze. They thought of everything, Smart TV's were in every room including the back porch and Tiki Hut. The kitchen was well stocked, don't need to bring a thing. Communication was top notch. The house was beautifully decorated and the bathrooms were up to date. By far this has been one of the best rentals we've stayed at.......thank you Heather and Ken!!

Has it ALL - look no further!
Stop searching- you’ve found THE perfect spot to vacation! Our first time to SML and Dockside Daze hands down exceeded every want and desire for a fabulous vacation! The family agreed this was our best summer vacation ever out ranking Myrtle abd OBX. The house is just amazing- ample space inside and out, cozy beds, stocked kitchen, great TVs, grills, firepit, close to shops & grocery stores. But that view, the water toys, the tiki bar, the cove…heaven! Cannot thank Heather & Ken enough for their gracious hospitality and entrusting us with their home! We are already planning for 2025!

Relaxing Paradise
This property was exactly what our family was looking for. The owners were extremely communicative and have made this property all about comfort and leisure. Great lakefront property with an amazing dock and tiki bar!
We have stayed at a few places on SML and this is our favorite. The dock and tiki bar are amazing! Close to Mangos and westlake. Kitchen has everything you need to cook, coffee pot, tea kettle etc all included. Highly recommend!

Best Rental at SML
We have been vacationing at SML for many years and this was the best rental so far. Loved the location, house had everything you needed and more, clean, best beds ever, and the Dock is amazing! We have now found our yearly rental until we can get a home of our own on the lake. Thank you!

Great week in this wonderful lake house at SML!
Our stay at the lake house was absolutely fabulous! The location is stunning and convenient, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. The amenities were top-notch, and we particularly enjoyed the dock and the tiki bar, which provided endless fun and relaxation. We made great use of all the features the house had to offer, including the kayaks, paddle boat, and floats, which added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. The house itself is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We can't say enough about how great this lake house is – it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect getaway (except the week we want ;) )! The owners were awesome to work with and checked in to make sure are stay was a great one!

Dockside Daze
Dockside Daze was amazing! The owners really went all out with the technology. Charging stations everywhere, TVs in each room. Even the porch and dock have a TV. The sound system at the dock was a great touch. We really enjoyed having music down there. The neighbors are super friendly and my kids made a new friend. You can't beat the location to all the Smith Mountain Lake attractions. 10 out of 10!

The way the owners have the property setup is fantastic. Big TVs, grill, fire ring, bar on dock with TV, etc. Whether you want to lounge in the shade, go out on the lake, or watch the big game it’s setup great. Quality bumpers and cleats on dock to protect your boat. Nice house. Comfortable beds. Nice bathrooms. We’ve been coming to SML for 20 years and this is the best house we have stayed in.

Quiet and relaxing
This was the best little getaway! We wanted a relaxing spot to take the kids for a couple days during spring break to relax and fish and this was perfect! The house had everything and the hosts were amazing. We will definitely be back!

Great stay despite the weather.
We had terrible weather the first two days of our stay, but the house was very cozy and there were plenty of throw blankets for us to snuggle up. The games and puzzles were great! We enjoyed all the TV's and cable access (to watch Penn State win the Big 10 wrestling title). Once the weather improved, we enjoyed the large backyard and the beautiful deck and tiki bar. You can't beat the location. It was our first time at SML and we were glad we were very close to most of the restaurants on the lake.

Dreamy Getaway on the Lake
This owner is generous with water toys, yard toys, cozy fireplace and blankets. Plush bedding. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Whole family is in love with this rental on Smith Mountain Lake.

Perfect Mother/ Daughter Vacation
We came to Dockside Daze as 2 Mothers & 2 Daughters for a week of fun, laughs, & making memories. It did Not disappoint! The house and property are immaculate and close to everything such as grocery stores, shopping, dining, vineyards, ect. The house also has everything you could possibly need to cook meals (fully stocked of cookware, dishes, seasonings, convenient condiments, multiple grills, and so on). The beds were extremely comfortable for great nights of sleep as well as a very quiet neighborhood. It is such a tranquil and peaceful place. The weather was not as good as expected for being on the water but the owners of Dockside Daze went out of their way to give Us the Best experience we could have imagined. Heather & Ken are wonderful and gracious hosts. They offered to take Us out on their boat to have a nice evening tour of the lake. They told stories and showed Us many things we would not have had the chance to do. We cannot Thank them enough! It was such a pleasure to meet and get to know them and they truly made our trip memorable! They also gave Us ideas of things to do on the chilly days as well as great restaurant options. Napoli on the Lake was our favorite. Fabulous food! We travel to meet at a lake every year (as we all live in different states) and we will definitely be coming back to Dockside Daze next year to enjoy Smith Mountain Lake again. It's a beautiful area with friendly people & I cannot say enough great things about the Owners & property! TY

Paradise at the Lake
This is a wonderful home to stay where you feel right at home. Owners have thought of everything! And the lake….lake front to this beautiful lake where there’s the most beautiful view and direct access to the lake. The entire outdoors areas were perfect for our family and our fun filled vacation! Can’t wait to return to Dockside Daze and SML!!

Awesome property with great owners
A wonderful Place to stay and we will no doubt seek out availability here when we desire to re-visit SML. I would ask that owners look at the Dock Ladder as it was difficult climb in/out of water.

Great location!
The house was well stocked and had everything we needed. The dock is great, the tiki bar with full fridge- wonderful! The location was perfect, 5 min drive to most anything you need.
