Be careful!
First the owner announces this property as a cottage. It’s not a cottage. It’s a two bedroom apartment with a yard. She does not mention that there are 100 steps to reach the apartment and with kids that is difficult to go up and down 100 steps This property is not safe for kids and the furniture is old. My wife had an accident at the hammock where she had to go to the hospital with a broken nose because the bar of the hammock hit her nose. There are no bars around the deck to protect the kids and there is a hole in the deck that you constantly need to watch out for I do not recommend this property!

Cozy mountainside
We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed every minute of our time in the unit. It faces into the mountain providing a cozy right-in-nature feel. We had deer watch us eat breakfast and a resident told, Gilbert. Close to everything in Tremblant but still feels secluded. A+

Great cottage condo!
Very well maintained property with quiet base board heat. Parking for two cars is excellent. Some neighbors may occupy your parking spot occasionally without asking (Canadian way?), so be prepared to walk those 81 steps a few extra times to get them to move their cars out of your parking spots. In an ice storm staircase becomes extremely hazardous. Do watch out and hug those railings tight. Great owner. Provided expert advice on grocery store locations. Will stay again.

Very nice interior and we'll equipped. Great location on hillside. Long staircase to get up to the rental unit was a bit strenuous, not recommended for guests with mobility or cardiac issues. But we still made it and had a good workout.

Wonderful fall weekend
The property is centrally located and close to some of the attractions we planned to visit during our stay. It is a condo and not on the water... the photos of the interior were accurate... but not those the exterior (no waterfront view as we thought based on photos). That said... still beautiful and a great deal. I would visit again and do recommend this property. Oh...and the owner is great. Communication with her was 100% ... making our stay that much better.

Cozy stay
Great comfortable lodging. Misleading in regards to the type of home it is. It is part of a condo community at the far back of the property facing the hill behind the unit. There are 81 steps to get to the top. Glad we were all healthy and strong. Not for the older or frail! Unit didn’t have paper towels and did not have any bath soap or shampoo which I have never experienced in an Air B&B. We showered with liquid hand soap the first night and bought body soap and paper towels at the local grocery store the next day. Love the area and accessibility to local shops and restaurants.

Lovely seclusion at the top of the stairs
Rented for Ironman. It's close to the course, and was even an ok walk back after the event with all equipment in hand. There are 81 steps from the parking area to the front door, so multiple trips up when I arrived was a bit annoying, but not a factor after first night. Well appointed, roomy, and quiet seclusion as you feel above any neighbors. Would rent again, it was very nice

Comfortable, private, surrounded by woods
We liked feeling that we were in the woods. The trade-off was that the condo lacked natural light, so was pretty dark inside. The place was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a 3-night stay with 3 adults. We used the condo as a base for exploring beautiful Mont-Tremblant national park - it was about a half hour drive to get there. The condo is one of 3 units in the building shown in the pictures. It is directly across from and shares stairs with another building that is just the same - 3 units as well. We didn't have any problems with noise, in fact it felt private the whole time even though there were people in the other units.

Cozy cottage lots of stairs
Pleased with the interior of the property. Everything we needed for the 2 weeks was there as far as pots, utensils etc. Would have been nice to have paper goods replenished after week 1. Also purchased a fan since only 1 in the home. Race track was quiet 1st week but the 2nd week it was unbelievably loud. We could barely hear each other speaking while in the same room. 81 steps from parking lot to door. The image of the home taken with a view over the top of the roof is misleading. I thought we would have a view of the lake and park roof level because of that photo. I also thought the stairs in another photo were to go down to the lake. Owner must have climbed thru the woods to take that photo so I believe it was intentionally misleading. Overall everything in good repair and comfortable. Walked to town and bus stop nearby. Bugs in July were vicious so we never really used much of the back deck. 1 minute outside resulted in bug bites.

Place was in condition as presented on VRB site
Property was easy to rent. Maria was very quick at responding back with any concerns by text or email. I participated in the 70.3 IM and this was a good location to get to the event. It also is very close to the run route which allow us to go watch some of Saturday’s event. Even though it is a bit of a hike up the stairs from parking to the unit, I would stay there again if in the area.

It felt like home away from home :)
My overall experience was great. From the start Maria was very prompt on returning my messages & provided me with everything I needed to know. It is nicely located near the village. The cottage was very comfy. I really loved the fireplace! The place was very clean and I felt good being there. It was very inviting. There is nothing I would change should I go again which is a high probably. Highly recommended :)

The cottage was very clean, tidy and plenty of space for our family. We were 3 adults and 1 'tween' and the space was perfect. We were in Mont-Tremblant for the Ironman race and the property was right along the run-route and within 45 minutes walk or 10 minutes drive from the Ironman village. The cottage had everything we needed in terms of appliances (laundry, dishwasher, BBQ) and cookware, utensils, etc. The area was peaceful in the evenings, and walking distance from local shops, restaurants, beach, cycling paths, etc. Entry was simple and our communication with the host was seamless. Two things to note: (1) the are several (about 60-70) stairs to walk up from the parking lot to the front door of the cottage so this would not be possible for individuals who are less mobile; (2) there is a car race track in the vicinity and when outside on the back deck it can be quite noisy during the day. Of course this is not the owner's fault, but something to be aware of. Even with these two notes, the cottage was wonderful for our needs.

Look no more, great place, amazing host minutes away from everything...
My wife and out 13 y/o child stayed here for about a week. The experience was amazing. The "cottage": We've been renting cottages in Ontario, Michigan and Ohio for years now, the concept of cottage in this area seems to be a bit different, we thought it was a big house at the foot of the mountain, when the reality is, that is a condo, I believe about 6 apartments total in this section.... however, don't this discourage you, our first impression not knowing it was a condo was "here we go, no privacy, no quiet time"... WRONG !!!!... we came to realize it was super quiet and private, in a week I believe we heard the other neighbors two or three times coming back to their apartments, other than that birds were more annoying early in the morning than the other people LOL.... Also this is the only unit with the back towards a small mountain/hill which not only gives a good sense of peace while having a coffee outside in the morning or just chilling in the evening, but more often than not deer are gonna pay a visit, that was daily routine, have our coffee in the morning looking at deer walk by... The unit is clean, modern, cozy and well equipped, the 2 bathrooms makes your life easier if you have kids, so is the WiFi great speed and reliable...Nice size bbq, oven, toster and toster oven will take care of whatever cooking you decide/need to do... over all is an amazing place, just minutes away from Mont Tremblant Village, Downtown and Old Village... couple of minutes from a small beach on the lake, and about 45 to an hour drive to Mont Tremblant National Park and Omega Park... "The bad" lots of stairs to get to the unit, so pack wisely, the less trips the better, and if it rains make sure you have an umbrella in your car to make it all the way up dry... Also the closeness the the Mont Tremblant Race Track, from 9 am to 5 pm you can hear the cars racing, not a real problem since for the most part we were gone during those times, but we knew for sure when 9 am was ! LOL... other than that we had a great time at this cottage, needless we had a great communication with the owner Maria, she answer every question we had in a timely manner, we couldnt say enough about this place... so look no more, if youre looking to stay in Mont Tremblant close to everything for a great price/value, this is your place !!!

In the heart of Mont Tremblant
My wife, my best friend, and his fiance came to Mont Tremblant to compete in the 2017 Ironman. We wanted a place just outside the hustle and bustle of the base of the ski resort and this lovely cottage more than fit the bill. Coming from the United States we're not always accustomed to such a lovely and friendly town as Mont Tremblant, not to say that the States doesn't have its wonderful destinations and great people, but Mont Tremblant, and Quebec in general, is just a privilege to travel to. Maria, the owner of the cottage, was exceptionally prompt in replying to out many emails inquiring as to the cottage and what we could expect, what was provided, and what we needed to bring. We read all the reviews and only saw some concern over the many "steps" up to the cottage, as it is three flights up from ground level, situated against a huge rock formation. We would like to say that the steps were fine, in great shape, and the hand rails allowed for tired triathletes such as ourselves to easily navigate to the top. Trust us, this is not a problem, as long as you are an able-bodied individual. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, with two nice bedrooms with two full baths and a kitchen with all the cookware a family needs to stay as long as is needed. The floors are beautiful hardwood and the family/living area complete with comfortable couches and a large dining table, as well as bar stools to sit at the kitchen counter. The cottage is also located in a quiet area with nature abound all around. We are looking to return to Mont Tremblant next year and we will certainly be looking to rent from Maria once again. Five stars, well earned. We are grateful.

Well-kept, clean cottage, great for younger family or couple
My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. We are both healthy and in our 40s so were able to climb the many flights of steep stairs to get to the cottage. The stairs are sturdy and safe. Maria provided clear instructions and was very courteous and professional throughout the rental process. When we entered the cottage, it was very clean, there were many thoughtful touches like having wine openers, a spice rack and candles available. We really enjoyed using the fireplace in the living room at night and enjoying the view from the patio outside. This is a great place for a couple or a family of 4. It's very close to the village and many walking trails. We would not have rented this cottage if we had our elderly parents with us because the stairs would have been very difficult for them to climb. I imagine very young children under 7 would face the same challenge. Otherwise, it was a nice place, the photos are accurate and Maria is very professional.

Good value for a family
As mentioned by previous renters, the number of steps to reach the home are daunting. I can't imagine slippery steps with skis in the winter. The home was clean, the beds were basic. We needed a place for overflow guests over a holiday weekend. It was fine, and better value than a hotel.

A lovely gem if you don't mind some stairs
We had a terrific family weekend despite the rain. The unit has everything we needed, and there was lots of space. The view is beautiful from the side balcony, and the area was peaceful, but still within walking distance of a few restaurants and stores. The place was clean and well cared for. Plan what you pack, because you have to bring it up a lot of stairs, although this wasn't as big a problem as I feared for a couple of 60 year olds. Keep beach and recreational stuff in a separate bag that you can leave in the car at the bottom of the stairs, and remember that cans and bottles get tiresome after 50-60 steps. Don't let this put you off- the place is too nice for that. Just keep it in mind when packing. There's no air conditioning, and because it's surrounded by trees, there isn't necessarily much breeze. There is a fan, but you may want to consider bringing a second one for the other bedroom. Also consider bug spray if you want to sit out at night, which you may want to do in the summer, since it's so pretty.
