This building was the old bar, grocery store of the village where it was good to meet to drink the glass of friendship at the beginning of the century.

The village of Montaimont is typical Savoyard, located at an altitude of 1400m2 very close to the Espace Nordique Grand Coin, you will find 40 km of cross-country ski / skating trails, marked and maintained, as well as numerous snowshoe routes.

Sejour parfait !
La location se situe dans un charmant petit village. La vue depuis la terrasse est superbe. La maison est sur 3 niveaux, avec des escaliers un peu raides mais ca n'a pas posé de soucis à nos enfants. En cette periode de forte chaleur, la maison est restée fraiche. La cuisine est bien équipée. De chouettes balades sont accessibles depuis la location ou à moins de 30 min de route. La communication avec Noelle a été très facile et très agréable, toujours prête pour nous faciliter le séjour. Bref, on recommande vraiment !!

Maison paisible
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille (3 adultes et 4 enfants). La maison est très bien équipée et située près des pistes de ski de fond et balades en raquettes. Il faut une vingtaine de minutes pour rejoindre la station de Saint François. Nous avons été accueillis par une dame très sympathique.

Rustikaler Wanderurlaub mit Hund bei ganzjähriger Weihnachtsdeko
Die Gegend ist traumhaft mit sehr gut ausgeschilderten Wandermöglichkeiten. Hierfür lohnen sich auch Abstecher auf den col de la Madeleine und den col du Glandon, von wo aus tolle Wanderrouten starten. Die Buchung lief problemlos. Allerdings verlangte der Vermieter eine Woche vor Reisebeginn noch nachträglich Kaution und Reinigungskosten. Solche Details sollten fairerweise bereits bei der Buchung bekannt sein. Zudem war bei Buchung Internet und WLAN im Portal angegeben, das leider nicht vorhanden ist. Fairerweise hat der Vermieter dies inzwischen im Buchungsportal korrigiert und uns nach diversem Emailverkehr eine Möglichkeit zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Haus ist eher rustikal, verfügt aber über alle relevanten Ausstattungen bis hin zur Waschmaschine. Hier hätten wir uns allerdings eine Möglichkeit gewünscht Wäsche aufhängen zu können, die leider nicht vorhanden war. Für 8 Personen gibt es eindeutig zu wenig Stauraum. Für große oder nicht schlanke Menschen ist es eher ungeeigent, da die sanitären Einrichtungen doch sehr beengt sind. Für Hundebesitzer ist das Haus ebenfalls schwierig, da in den Schlafbereichen Echtholzfußboden vorliegt, das Grundstück nicht umzäunt und auch die Terasse nicht vom Nachbarn abgegrenzt ist. Mit Außnahme von Schlafzimmer und Bad, entsprach die allgemeine Sauberkeit nicht ganz unseren Vorstellungen. Die im Portal aufgeführten Hygienemaßnahmen im Rahmen von COVID wurden wohl nur zum Teil umgesetzt. Wofür die Reinigungskosten abverlangt wurden, erschließt sich uns nicht. Geschirr und Küchenequipment musste zwingend vor Benutzung gereinigt werden. Auch musste die vorhandene Spülmaschine erst ein Mal auseinandergebaut und gereinigt werden. Darüber hinaus hätten wir uns bei Check-in bereits Equipment und Info zur scheinbar bekannten diesjährigen Mäuseplage gewünscht. Fazit: Viele Mängel hätten sich im Vorfeld bei einem letzten Durchgang vor Vermietung beheben lassen.

Un lieu dépaysant dans un logement cosy
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour d'été dans cette maison très chaleureuse et très bien équipée. Elle est idéalement située pour faire des randos au départ de la maison tout en étant à l'écart de la foule. Vue spectaculaire sur la montagne. Seul petit bémol, la mitoyenneté de la terrasse mais la maison est très bien isolée et grande. Merci à Marjorie pour son accueil.

Joli chalet dans un bel environnement montagnard
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le séjour. Le chalet est très bien aménagé, avec gout, confortable. J'ai adoré retrouver la vue que je contemplais enfant, étant venu très régulièrement dans le village de Montaimont, et le cadre est à l'hauteur de mes souvenirs :). Le chalet est magnifiquement décoré. Attention cependant si vous avez de jeunes enfants car il y a de nombreux escaliers + une très belle terrasse qui ne sont pas sécurisés pour les tous petits. Pour le reste, tout était parfait, avec un accueil chaleureux. Ski de fond à quelques minutes et ski alpin à 25 min skis aux pieds à Saint Francois Long champ. Impatients de revenir !

Très belle région. Chalet atypique et nous convenant parfaitement : vue, terrasse, équipement, intérieur douillet. On aurait bien envie d’y rester ! Ou d’y revenir.... juste un petit truc à améliorer : présence d’un petit nécessaire de base : sel poivre huile etc, d’un locataire à l’autre... si les locataires jouent le jeu ! Nous sommes très contents de notre séjour.

Très joli. Très propre. Très bien équipé (tout est neuf). Très bien accueillis par Marjorie. La propriétaire du chalet a pris le temps de nous appeler dans la semaine pour savoir si tout se passait bien. Montaimont est un petit village en pleine montagne. La vue du chalet sur la montagne est juste magnifique, des chambres comme de la terrasse. Nous y avons passé une super semaine avec nos 3 garçons entre randonnées et baignades en lac et nous y reviendrons.
