Shanique- receptionist greeted me. Her hospitality was stellar. ( she persuaded me to believe I was entering the same Grand Palladium I had entered annually since 2018.) naturally I was excited that was short lived. the next morning I went Negril for breakfast with mimosas (several) I was light hearted, headed to speak with the Travel club (inebriated) I signed for a membership! I knew from previous experience some of amenities and privileges you gain as a member. I learned quickly reservations to eat at any of the specialty restaurants are not made the night of.nor does being a member has any merit. not realizing reserve should’ve been done at check in! Very limited reservations were available. Poseidon was not available until-after we left Therefore we are left with 2 restaurant options or eat at a bar. The 2restaurants- are able to hold a large capacity (you’re able to see the caliber of people and now limited buffet style options, quickly noticed the warm room temperature, the older aged/family sittings. Shocked because previous stays has kept a party vibe/ages from mid 20(s) upward, some families of course but not to this capacity! itinerary was family focused.(nothing against 55 or family) Daytime no entertainment. What a disappointment-from staff, entertainment and amenities. I got food poisoning,racially-harassed, and a phone stolen.its a loyalty tier/retirement home feel now.I didnt expect that but I thank the staff who tried
