An aging hotel that is showing its age - taped carpet, room decor. Was given the nosiest room - right by the elevator . Gave the wife a gift by booking at the Bonaventure due the alien pool sighting. A damage deposit? There was confusion about parking- there was and there wasn’t. As well we did stay when the employee strike was occurring as stated by the lady stating- only Buffett for breakfast. Needless to say will be my last stay here & felt it was not worth the $$$. I do travel for my work and stay in hotels all across Canada, must say- very disappointing.

We were very happy with the cleanliness of the hotel. We were disappointed that there weren’t any bottles of water in the fridge or that there were only small bottles of shampoo, conditioner & body wash as apposed to these being in containers on the wall of the shower. We were also not happy that the restaurant was closed due to a strike as we were not able to get late snacks in our room.

In our 4 day stay our room was not cleaned or replenished once. We had to go to the front desk and ask for sheets, towels, trash can liners, etc. when needed. The front desk was nice and helpful but the service workers were on strike. We paid too much money to have these conditions affect our vacation with no offer of compensation.

I’d definitely recommend the option with breakfast. The rooftop pool, sauna, jakuzzi and a bar was a great bonus. It’s suitable for families as well as adults without kids. The location of the hotel was great. There are many nice sitting areas arranged in many places on the main floor, where you can relax with coffee or read a book. Big thanks to Guy, who always made our breakfast a great social experience!

Just across the street from the Metro. 15-20 minute walk to Old Montreal and the ND Basilica. Get the city view if you can, it’s awesome!

They were having a worker strike so that may explain it but we were assigned a room or a corridor that was very loud and requested and received a move to a quieter room, but it didn’t have shades. Anyway we dealt with it. The lobby is pretty nice .
